I’ve got a question about the Samsung T32E390SX and was hoping you could help to best combination of pictures calibration and white balance

Just bought one of these but where do I put my aerial in please? I'm getting a weak signal sign. Then how do I tune ?

Do they just roll this Tv out every xmas for £199 as a marketing tool??

Am tempted to buy one as it ticks a lot of boxes.

It says Freeview HD but after scanning with over 180 to choose from non are HD.

Would really appreciate if someone could please upload a photo showing the model number from the back of TV, as well as the number of HDMI and USB ports? I am trying to find out if this is same as UE32J5500.
Btw, I tried checking with Samsung Support regarding T32E390S, and they confirmed that it is not definitely manufactured for/in the UK. However they are unable to check this on Samsung sites outside of the UK!

After running the 199 deal out of stock, the stocks are back at 299.. Only Currys can pull something like it!!

I picked mine up this afternoon and am very impressed with it so far but haven't had a proper chance to play around with it yet. It looks like a scaled down version of my UE50JU6800 all the menus /settings are exactly the same aswell as the remote. You cant go wrong for £199 for a 32 ins branded tv with those specs.I also took out the 3 year guarantee for £20 just hope i never need it !

I'm so disappointed. I've phoned and recorded it and will go to the store where I collected tomorrow. I would love an exchange but know there'll probably be no more in stock for ordering. Maybe they'll give me a discount off the other 32 inch Samsung smart to at £279.

Collected mine early today. The box was a bit damaged, the sleeve was off the screen, there's a black line on the top centre of the screen and the bottom centre looks like there is pressure being applied.

Yes, the model number on the TV is different to that stated on the receipt. Thanks for the advice. Ill give it a few weeks and then give them a ring. Im thinking as they have given me the wrong model in error and I have received the product then the contract is in place and they will not be able to charge me any more for the wrong model.

Assuming the model number on the TV is different to what is stated on your receipt /warranty documentation, then I might be tempted to leave it a month or so and then say that you happened to check feature x and realised that you have been given the wrong model. Say you are happy but concerned what happens if a warranty claim needed to be made.

They should let you keep it but they may wish to charge you part of the difference of the two models. You could then argue the spec of them appears to be the same so there should be no additional charge.

Thanks for the info. As I purchased the 5 year extended warranty. Would this still be honoured should things go wrong with the TV or do I need to contact them and let them know of the error. Im not sure what the best course of action is in this case.

If you have received a UE32J5600 then you have done very well. I can't see why Samsung would supply this set if its just a renumbered UE32J5600 to Currys at a lower price point than all the other major retailers. It wouldn't make commercial sense.

Seems much more likely this has an older panel and has smart feature to make up for it. Unless maybe Samsung ran out of the older panels and to meet its contract obligation to Currys had to supply the last few with a newer panel.

I have a j5500 32" and the picture was good out of the box.

Is everyone getting the series 3 model? As when I checked the packaging and sticker on my TV its actually the 5 series UE32J5600 which I believe is the updated model.

Got mine today very happy with it, colours do need adjusting to get a better picture quality. Perfect for the kitchen.

Just to confirm that both the box and the sticker on back of TV say T32E390SX. Instruction manual says series 3 on front, which might suggest this is older technology. I also note a series 3 27 inch which is primarily a PC monitor with TV capabilities, very similar model number - T27D390EW (although that one is not smart).
Having said all that the picture and sound are both good and it looks impressive in the corner of my kitchen. I am happy with it.

Is it worth getting the currys know how 3 year warranty for £20?

Yes if indeed it is similar to the J5500 model then it's been well worth the price.

This would suggest something very similar to the J5500 model, but strange you got a J5600 when it is advertised as a e390sx

Fantastic! Trying to decide between a 32" and a 40" TV for the loo. Maybe a bit small this but considering the built-in apps we may go for this.

I don't they make them up, I think they just get special models made for them to sell exclusively.

Just got mine from Currys/Pc World. This is my third ( and cheapest) Samsung Smart TV and it's a bargain for the money. Nice picture and sound is good too. In answer to the above question, yes a stand is included.

Default picture settings are a little washed out for me so I have adjusted the standard mode to be similar to the natural settings with high contrast, and brightness and colour both at 42. i think this has a slightly slower processor than my other smart sets as it takes longer to read from a hard drive, but playback is perfect.

I recommend.

Freeview always needs an aerial.
It doesn't have a DVB-S tuner to get Freesat (as you also asked about satellite).

This may be useful for anyone else in the same situation as me who's undecided between a 32" & 40".
I think I'll get JL to price match the 40" and have that with a chromecast, perfect for the kitchen!

One question though, TVs having freeview HD, do you still have to connect an ariel/satalite etc? Or is it wireless?

Would rather wait for a price match elsewhere, would like to avoid currys at all costs

bought for the in-laws on boxing day. A very good price, full Samsung apps, including iPlayer, All4, itv, Amazon prime etc. Freeview HD too, WiFi. can't complain at this price at all.

The screen is 31.5" inches, however for a full HD with smart and a 400ghz processing rate it's a really good price.

I think Currys/PC World make up models numbers like this so that they can't be price matched as no one else actually sells this! Just my opinion.

had this tv a couple of days now, can't fault it, has all the features of my big samsung tv. bought it for the wall in the kitchen and it's a perfect size.

Like one or two also I am a bit skeptical about this TV and I am Samsung fan and owner of many of their products. TV's often seem to get made for Black Friday and Xmas, or models that are quickly retired for not being right or market appear as deals.

I do reckon it is most likely a very decent TV at worst, however just not convinced its that amazing a deal. If in doubt, leave it out.

I've ordered one for collection after 5th Jan. I can't find much information and no reviews on the TV - even on Samsung website. I'm a little worried that it's too good to be true.
