Bought one last night after having a chat with customer services. My main question was what does it mean when it specifies "repackaged", and the answer was that it was basically a new phone, but the box had been opened. When I asked specifically whether the phone was used, or had any light damage, the reply was "new". Great deal, probably will sell out straight away.

This is a MONSTER of a phone.

Actually it is different. If you look at all the reviews, with Amazon warehouse, most of their "new" or "very good" are perfectly new products. Sometimes with silly things like the box is slightly damaged, or has been opened. Having said that though, once sold as used, you loose the standard warranty that would otherwise apply.

Me too, nothing to lose if you have to return as I have returned stuff from warehouse deals hassle free in the past. I was also wondering about samsungs 2 yr warrenty, that will be interesting to find out. In fairness the man I spoke to at amazon said it was covered for a year and if there were any problems they would exchange or refund straight away, pretty good considering most other companies would expect you to have it repaired.

Im using the Snap dragon processor version and battery is amazing.
Id try and get the snap dragon version you get more custom roms and the GPU will be better for the high res screen.

Snap dragon better GPU, more custom roms and better battery life. More cores mean nothing. In YouTube tests for day to day usage they are equally as fast. I do get 1.5 days out of this youl be surprised. I only use battery for night shift, trips, emergencys. It's really useful.

Received mine last night around 8 upon ordering are 12pm. What a beast, no sign of any damage. Screen is excellent, no pixels missing etc. Camera is working great. More then pleased. Best phone out there and I have used the m9, s6 etc. Overall wins hands down

The amazon delivery box didn't have a receipt. The galaxy note 4 bax had sellotape around a side and an amazon warehouse sticker was on the other. Phone is on tip top condition.

Ok thanks, but what I was getting at was, when you ask for warranty repair you need to supply your amazon receipt so does your invoice in your amazon account say it is a used item from Amazon warehouse? If so they may well refuse you warranty repair.

Bought second hand iphone off gumtree before taken to apple replaced/fixed without any issues. I think the point is the used/new factor is irrelevant, samsung wont know if the phone was returned back to amazon etc. But I may well be wrong

You can check the receipt/invoice online in your Amazon account. No mention of used/warehouse on mine.

Just got my phone, it's in as new condition. NO scratches or anything. All the accessories are present and in still sealed condition. The box is slightly dirty, but not dinged or anything. Just starting a chat online with Samsung...

I unfortunately got a real arsole on the Samsung chat. Basically she gave me the same 2017 date as you. If you don't have proof of purchase and require a warranty service then just say you lost your receipt. How did your invoice say used? I selected to print my invoice and then viewed the resulting pdf. No used or warehouse there...

Does anybodys phone say live demo unit under the battery? When I have turned it on it said note 3 and it is filled woth games such as sonic, tennis etc but messages keep coming up saying "messenger has stopped" "newspsper has stopped" "messages has stopped etc. I cant seem to get rid of them as they are continually popping up x

Ok, so after removing the battery to try my sim it seems this is a demo unit and shouldnt be for sale. It is also a note 3 and not a note 4. Have contacted amazon and they have arranged collection for a refund. Am quite astounded to think somebody would do that and even more so that amazon dont check what is being received or purchased. I feel bad as I feel that they may think that I am responsible for it. Unbelievable that somebody would do that!!

Yep, a white note 3, and a demo model not for resale. It also wasnt in very good condition with chips and marks and the charger missing. Very annoyed!

They tried to replace but didnt have anymore in stock. In fairness the lady I spoke to offered me £60 off another phone. Am gutted though as really wanted one of these.

Mine is apparently getting delivered today - although looking at the tracking who knows as it's left the Amazon Warehouse in Dunfermline which is 16 miles from my house. It then went down to Warrington and then to Edinburgh where I expect it will be dispatched for delivery although it's not saying out for delivery yet and I am sure the Forth Road Bridge being shut will be used as a reason if it's delayed.
