Very.co.uk are known to allow voucher codes to validate at checkout, then change their mind and charge the customer the discounted amount several weeks later.
Given their entire business model is built on giving customers credit and charging them interest on it, as opposed to competing on a pricing and service level, I don't really consider them as a retailer I'd buy from. If I recall correctly I had trouble even buying something from them without constantly being forced down the alley of signing up for a 40% A.P.R. credit card.
Curry's isn't perfect but I'd happily lose the 20% discount and go with them.

looking for a new washer but preferably larger drum as currently 11kg, fault lies with drum 1.5yrs old hotpoint, but as is sealed drum is an expensive repair, any idea if you can find out if has a sealed drum or not?

Samsung washing machine from Currys. Two of the worst combinations IMO. Samsung washing machine are rubbish and Currys is also rubbish because of their after sales service.

Good price, but unfortunately can not recommend. Had a £450 Samsung washer dryer develop a fault with its drum a few months out of warranty. An absolute nightmare dealing with Samsung who after dishing out ~£100 for an engineer to visit (for literally 5mins) want more than the original purchase price to repair.... Sorry, no chance.

Can anyone recommend a good comparison site that rates noise for spin cycle and general wash? I'm going to be in a tiny place so noise (particularly carrying through to other flats) may be an issue.

1200rpm spin would be quieter than 1400rpm, there's not a big difference in water extraction, so I read on washer help. Doubt you'll find a better deal for this price.
