I received mine over the Xmas period as well. Hologram sticker and retail packaged. Looks genuine. If not it's an amazing copy!!

I've just received the card, all Windows tests (fakeflashtest, flash drive tester) show 61+ GB, SD Insight on android shows Samsung as a brand and Sep 2015 as manufacture date. Sticker with Samsung hologram on the package. I think it's genuine.

Korean-developed then, I'm fairly sure you knew exactly what I meant and were being pedantic.

I deal with Gearbest a fair bit and they have gone down hill. It is not true that all Chinese stuff is fakes but Gearbest have started to get caught out a bit more than they used to doing just that. I know of one large forum that has just stopped taking advertising from them due to an appalling record they have developed recently in not sending out goods at all. With Gearbest you have to be making a huge saving with your chosen item compared to UK bought and without a doubt be paying for at the very least tracking with your order. Only saving a couple of quid by buying through them would quite frankly be a bit stupid.

I don't think it's fake, I just don't think it's cheap enough to justify a couple of pounds saving over Amazon in return for having to wait weeks and handle with international shipping (e.g. weeks to arrive and/or if you happened to have to send it back). Though I do kind of wonder why it would be cheaper to buy a Korean-made card shipped from China and shipped to the UK.

It says on the listing page that they're made in China.

I have bought loads of stuff from china and never had a bother (around 3k spent). Dont know where all that hate comes from. Just dont expect them to ship items in 5 days time for free...

Because stuff like this are fakes.

The hate is because they're selling this as a Samsung product and it clearly isn't but because their country is a backward lawless hellhole they can just get away with what is essentially criminal fraud.
If they were listing this as random brand 64GB super memocard 5000 then nobody would care. But they're not doing that, they are actively going out of their way to deceive and cheat people and that's not on. If they want to do that then they should stick to their own market and leave the rest of the world alone.

Considering I bought a 64Gb genuine from Amazon for about this price, I'm not sure the calls of 'fake' are necessarily justified. The wait more than anything would put me off.

Regular price is around £15 from UK retailers ...who would like to take a risk for sake of £3 "saving"?! Sorry, it will be fake, so we have nothing to talk about anyway:)
