I'm giving my girlfriend one for Christmas!
I know that's got nothing to do with candles, but I did want people to know.

By who? People who don't like candles? It's all relative. A football would be voted the worst by someone who doesn't like football. Pointless comment to the deal post. Voted hot.

I'm pretty sure the invoice will be included. I don't think I have ever ordered anything that hasn't had one included.

I'm a 24 year old bloke living in a man cave, I'd happily have a candle as a present every damn time.
Only if they smell nice though. None of that sandlewood crap.

Don't know why everyone goes mad for these, I bought £50 worth a few days ago for Christmas and they barely smell at all, I have to get real close to smell it and even then it's minimal! I got Christmas Eve, Christmas Cookie and another Cookie one that was pink can't remember the name... I've had all three on the go to try and get the house to smell nice for Christmas and I can't help thinking I've wasted £50 :-( I bought them from boots so not sure if that has anything to do with it? Surely not fake from a main name shop...

I'm going to call the Yankee Candle online store tomorrow and complain. If an item, candle or otherwise isn't as advertised one should be entitled to a refund or a suitable replacement that is as advertised. They were a LOT of money.

Did you cut the wick & burn them for the first time until it was melted all the way to the edges, takes quite a few hours the first time.

If you bought them from Boots then you will need to address the complaint to them as they are the retailer. I think you've been unlucky, I'm currently burning Christmas Cookie and it smells amazing. Maybe they were old stock or more likely improperly stored.

has anyone received their order yet? I ordered early boxing day. Only had conformation email when i ordered so far. Should be 3-5 days delivery although on the website it states between 24th Dec and 4th Jan they have a reduced distribution rate? An email to say it is on its way would be nice!!

Just opened my order and am disgusted at what I found. 1 item is missing and 2 are smashed to smithereens including a large glass pillar candle. The box is undamaged so I can only assume it has been dropped whilst being packed. Needless to say Yankee Candle will be receiving a phone call from a VERY unhappy customer tomorrow :/
