100+ ping is horrible. no wonder you lag. On a EU server you should be getting 12 - 60 ping usually. "2MB a sec is pretty bad..considering you're paying for 100mb connection. I get 4.5MB/s and paying for 36.9mbps connection
I usually get 4 - 16 ping.

I have a Virgin 100Mb connection with Steam normally d/l 2-2.5MB per sec, I play on EU servers (but have tried others) and the long is normally under 100 until the match starts, when it goes haywire...

I loved this game until the permanent lag set in. Every now and again I'll try again but if I get 5 seconds of lag-free gaming in a match, it's unusual...

I can't recommend purely on this basis (as the game itself is as good as everyone says).

It's not the game. It's either your pc/console or your internet is pretty bad.

What is your ping usually? and what servers are you playing on? Are you sure you're on the european server?

Maybe I need to give it another shot... just driving in a big arena with a football didn't really capture me. I was expecting something like destruction derby or interstate 76 with a giant ball.
