I thought that too. They've done a fair bit of price matching here and there though, but the lightning deals have been almost non-existent for games.

Cool, I am going to trade in a copy of TB at £32 from the 2 I bought earlier this week from Zaavi.
Selling it more than the current price as new, that is quite unsual.

Agreed, vastly superior to the first reboot which was itself very good. Tombs are fantastic, feel genuinely massive. Great game.

Don't be arrogant, the last one had about 3 'Rooms' that they tried to pass of as tombs. Go play it then come back once you know what you are on about please.

Thanks for the info, I really like the last one but missed the whole Tomb Raiding element, it was more of a straight up adventure and the thing I liked most about Tomb Raider games were the head scratchers they provided me with.

Be aware, it says 10 days till dispatch. They must be out of stock. I've ordered it, but if I see it elsewhere for around the same price I'll be cancelling.

this one you can just ignore it all if you wish, but then you will miss 60% of the game, you basically arrive in big open world areas, with lots to do..Tombs, Caves, Crafting, Resource Hunting, Exotic Animal Hunting etc :smiley:

The reboot was so much better than any of the uncharted games. Will definitely be picking this up

I think you're confusing tombs with caves or something? They house bodies so they're not very big.

this one has a fatal bug as well....

if you get to a tomb and it says you need a rebreather, do not whatever you do save it there, make sure you back track out into the open, if you save there you can never get out or continue

Well worth it at this price. My GOTY and there have been quite a few outstanding games this year.

Actually play it, and tell me those tombs are anything like what we are used to in tomb raider games. You are being purposely facetious and I'm not rising to anymore of your comments.

​I'm a big fan of the series, I've played all of them right back to the PlayStation where you could do a handstand on the ledge and Swan dive into water. I have played the last game thoroughly and it's far more realistic than the previous games. You don't have to rise to my comments, the tombs are now proper tombs, you are confusing them with just environments in general and large puzzle rooms. Ordered as part of the 2 for £50 last week and still not been despatched. Tempted to just cancel the damn order.

Good deal but I pretty much refuse to buy off Zavvi as their delivery and service are so bad. Hoping for an Amazon price match or something.

I ordered this and Forza 6 from Zavvi today for £50 (The code 2450was mentioned on their website again)

It's good, but still not as good as Tomb Raider 2. It needs proper swimming where you end up actually holding your breath without knowing it when your air meter is almost empty and you can see the surface above you... will... I... make.. it... BLURRGHH! Twisting guts and gurgling death! Only Sonic drowns as badly as Lara.

Did anyone buy the lock-on arrows in this and use it? I found it useless. And make sure you put it on at least skill 3/4 as it's really, really easy. Apart from 2 set pieces that send in loads of enemies. Those bits were great.

I enjoyed this game, still not as hard puzzle wise as the old tombraider games where you could be stuck on a puzzle for a while and getting frustrated with it.

is there any download content in the box any codes as I am thinking of getting this 2nd hand ? is game doing any different versions

Nice Sony Fanboy link you have put up there, I see you didn't include the first part which was Sony’s sr. product manager Chris Brown and Driveclub’s (Sony's)game director Paul Rustchynsky talking rubbish.

He talks about the UK sales as if they were low but Brown never mentioned "Bloodbourne" only sold 41,421 the first week and "The order 1886" only sold 37,000 the first week and neither had to compete against any major releases from other company's.

MS know exactly what they are doing and having bragging rights to more AAA exclusives than the competition at this time of year is more important than separate sales of Tomb Raider as that is what sells consoles, why do you think they chose to release the same time as the four biggest titles of the year Fallout 4, Halo 5 , COD black ops 3 and Star wars ? Instead of waiting they have used Tomb Raider exactly as they probably planned since day one.

Tomb Raider will sell plenty over the coming months and then it will also release on the PC, Sony is trying to talk up the eventual release of the PS4 version in one YEARS time 28 December 2016 because in reality they know it will be gone and forgotten by then and to rub it in MS will release it as a free games with gold title on that same December next year.
