I took the knives out of the packet and gave them all a nice wash with soapy Fairy liquid like they did on the old adverts, I even sang the song (in my head). Then I got a nice white dinner plate from the cupboard and placed it on my marble granite floating island worktop. I opened a newly sliced Tesco Split Tin loaf which I had cut in store at the bakery. Then I opened my fridge/freezer and retrieved a tub of Clover (1KG), opened it and went mad.. What the hell its Christmas! I then proceeded to place pre-cooked Bacon rashers in aforementioned buttery bread and consume. The knife then went into the dishwasher. Pleased to report it came out just as new. Welcome to ask if you need anything else.

I had this set a while back and would definitely not reccomend them. After a matter of weeks the paint chipped off the handles...and I mean major loss not just the odd bit...it fell all over whatever was being sliced and just made them useless.
Will the paint not come off when you need to sharpen them in the future?
