You may need to change locale to Russian if yours switches to UK region when clicked.
I have checked the Canadian (£17) and Colombian (£20) stores, Russian seems to be the cheapest!
Visit http://www.microsoftstore.com then switch to Russia to purchase the credit needed, or post below for help...
Note this is an early access game.
Quick guide for those who are asking:
1) Go to the Russian MS store (http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msru/ru_RU/list/categoryID.68295800). You may need to switch locales (bottom left) if you page is redirected to UK.
2) If you are using Chrome, choose the option to translate the page when offered (in the top bar) - this will make it easier to see what you're doing.
3) Unless you already have some Ruble balance in your account, you will need to purchase enough balance to cover the purchase - so that's 500R + 1000R in this case (or 3 x 500). Add these to your basket and click "Checkout".
4) You will be asked to sign-in. Sign in with your normal Microsoft account.
5) Once signed-in, fill in the details for the invoice. I used a Russian university address:
7-9 University emb.
St.Petersburg
199034
6) Add your card details as requested. You can store all of these details for next time.
7) Click the Terms checkbox and then click "Complete the purchase".
8) Once the checkout is completed, you will be presented with the redemption codes for the gift cards. Make a note of these, or keep this browser tab open.
9) Now go to xbox.com and ensure your region is set to Russia, then sign in. Once logged in, click your Avatar (top-right) then select "Use code" (second item from last).
10) Redeem ("Activate") each of the credit codes you just bought by entering the 25-digit codes. You can check your Rubles balance in the Account section (Avatar->top item, "Microsoft Account").
11) Now go to the product page on Xbox.com, then click the "Buy Now for Xbox One" button.
12) A dialogue will pop-up confirming the price and that you will use your Russian credit balance to pay, click the green button to confirm and purchase.
That's it! Go to Games & Apps on your console, download, and congratulate yourself for all the money you just saved.
Further to the OP:
If you have a VPN and/or a Revolut card, you can just purchase the game directly from the Xbox website store without the need to purchase the currency. HTH raise the heat level even further. Death to Barney.

I believe that Noah, T-Rex and WW2 are part of what is called the "Olden Days". It was "better" in those days, or so I am told. Nonetheless, I will check these "facts" you seem so sure about.

It's a lot more of a chore without tribe mates, it's harder to tame certain dino's because you have to manage keeping them unconscious and going out to kill animals for meat. I'm sure some people will still enjoy it but personally I found I lost interest playing solo a lot quicker.

Yup, just go to http://www.microsoftstore.com and purchase what you need. You'll need to use a Russian address (I just grabbed the address from a university in St. Petersburg!), then you'll get the credit code at the end of the transaction which you then redeem via xbox.com (be sure to switch region first!)
It helps to have a second browser open with the UK store open so you know where to click, but it's not hard to figure out.

To be honest I was hoping the early access version was going to be a little cheaper - Elite was £19.99 when it was first released if I'm not mistaken? The UK price seems a bit over the top for what is essentially a beta.

My son has this on PC but playing it on a normal hdd and not ssd.
So I run into problems with game optimisation.
He's been blagging for this now on xbox to play with his friends so I'll be keeping an eye out in this deal and purchasing later.

Its a work in progress and you should have access once downloaded. Once paid you will not have to rebuy the game when it gets officially released.
Any Season Passes, dlc or micro transactions are not it included in the price unless specifically stated.
Not checked the wording on the store but I imagine it will be just the base game at this price.

I'm still amazed that HUKD allow these sort of "deals" on here. Whether you call it fraud or not (that is debatable - but you are entering fake details to make the purchase), you are breaking the Xbox Live terms of service and you do leave yourself wide open to being banned in the future.
MS have a history of doing so, and they also love to wait for months or years before such bans - meaning that just because thousands of people have been doing this for months now it doesn't mean that its "OK" or that you won't get a ban in the future.
Not worth the risk, let along the moral issue.

16 Dec 15#29
easier as in, can you just put your uk card details in and not bother with vpn's and adding money to charge cards?
Spud211
16 Dec 151#30
It's the use of a VPN & fake details that is the issue. You can move around the world, take your console with you, and buy from the local store...but using a VPN to fake your location is where there is an issue from a T+C standpoint. It is exploiting a system that is intended to make life easier for legitimate cases, where in the past you would be screwed if you moved from say the USA to the UK and would need to register a new account. Thats also why I would say there is a moral issue at hand in that you are faking details + exploiting the system.
stuarthanley
16 Dec 15#31
A revolut card isn't fake details and, in a lot of cases, a vpn isn't required so there isn't anything false or fake about it.

A lot of screen tearing and a few pop up issues in the distance but to be expected from a preview.

So if you purchase the early access, will you have to purchase the full game when released?
voyager123 to Ayaali41

No, that's why it's called early accces, you get it at a reduced rate than if you buy it when it's released
stuarthanley to Ayaali41
16 Dec 15#46
No. It's the same as Elite Dangerous preview. If you purchase the preview, the full game is unlocked when (if) it's ever released. They're basically using us as guinea pigs for the full version and, as a reward, we get the full game for free.

Has anyone managed to get this working for their children? I've followed the steps, and my boy now has 1 500,00 R in his account however he's getting blocked form buying the game;
Google Translate says
Apologize
The purchase of this content is currently banned accounts for children and adolescents.
This game is a 16 and he has played many other games higher rated than that (we have permitted him in the parents console)
Any ideas? are these credits stuck in his account forever?
/Edit
I've even tried choosing a free game (with a very young PEGI rating) and I get the same so it's clearly not the age rating hmmm..
coco2007
19 Dec 15#59
Sorry to report that the credits are likely stuck in his account, at least until he is 18. For some annoying reason child accounts are blocked from purchasing anything (even free GWG content) via xbox.com, and there's no workaround other than waiting for the account holder to turn 18.
I had the exact same issue as you, so had to unlock the game on my account which will be shared on my sons Xbox. I even attempted a region change on the console (as purchasing *is* possible on the console) but unfortunately there does not appear to be a Russian locale setting on the Xbox itself. I can't confirm if this would even work anyway.
Sorry you've hit this problem, not really sure what else to suggest.
