Quorn is brilliant.

Mix 1/2 Beef Mince with 1/2 Quorn mince and make a Spag Bol. Cuts your meat intake down without even trying.

Cheaper too!

Why do companies want vegeterians to eat pretend meat products. Vegeterians are vegeterians because they are against the killing of animals for food. I'm not a vegeterian, but i respect their ways. Stop making pretend meat products

Have you seen a horror movie? If so does that mean you are all for killing and murder? Or is it possible that some things that are like things that harm other creatures but don't actually harm other things are better?

To be fair' the manufacturer ( quorn ) decide on what their products look like and taste like not the consumer! They obviously believe their products will sell well if they happen to 'fit' in at the table i.e they look like and taste like meat produce but aren't - the logic is that will appeal and between me you and the gatepost I think they've got a winning strategy when you consider the company turns over millions year on year.

Think about trying to make a meat or quorn product that looks and tastes like a lettuce leaf and I think you'll find it won't sell - after all a lettuce leaf is vegetarian!

Yeah, i never looked at it that way, more the names they call the products. One thing i like about this site is the way somebody can put something across and you can see a different side. Thanks termite.
