The first Dragon Quest game to get a western release in 9 years. I really hope they bring Dragon Quest XI to the west too

Dragon Quest IX in 2009?
Besides that though, this isn't Dragon Quest in anything but name only anyway (Similar to Zelda Hyrule Warriors.) Its a Dynasty Warriors game with the DQ cast thrown in just for the fun of it (and I presume, sales).

This looks a bit like Fable so I voted it hot. PLEASE do stop calling bloody everything ever released now a "Day One Edition" though publishers  Not least when usually all that actually involves is a couple of extra guns or skins.

Just a Preorder incentive really, the weapons in this are obsolete in like 15 minutes game play though... Useless.
Also, still having day one editions available a month or two after launch is just poor forecasting!

A couple of swords and a few skins are not an incentive to pre-order. A fancy resin character model maybe.

Let's hope it goes below a tenner by boxing day...

Ops! my mistake. I forgot about the DS release. Its still 9 years since we had a Dragon Quest game of any kind on a home console though.
