But to answer the question the c chassis ps4 is lighter and power consumption is less so if your electrics on the emergency... it should last a little longer.

Sony has confirmed European plans to Eurogamer and the good news is that we'll get both 500GB and 1TB bundles. Both consoles also appear to be the new, revised PS4 hardware -the C-Series that's quieter and more power efficient. A close-up of the bundles shows model number CUH-1216A on the 500GB unit, and model number CUH-1216B on the 1TB unit, which indicates both are of the new 1200 series.

don't know it it is or not, other people are saying it is. the c-chassis model is more energy efficient and thermally efficient as well. this means that it consumes less power and makes less noise. also, the top left part is not shiny, but matte instead.

It will probably get cancelled. Codes don't work on electronics.
Just add they do work when you apply them but their T&Cs state they cannot be used.

I've bought one, hoping that it is in fact the newer model. It looks like it is from the picture, because it seems to be all the same texture, with no glossy section...
In general it's frustratingly difficult to tell from supplier's websites which model they are selling!

I ordered on Friday; it was dispatched on Saturday and I collected it from a local shop on Monday...
