Oh, I'm not too sure then, I originally thought it was 500gb only atm, Sony should give the new chassis PS4 a slightly different name to avoid confusion.

Correct, minus the 1TB bit, it comes in 500gb only atm, 1TB models are the old chassis.

New chassis is slightly quieter than the older chassis is the main thing, along with all Matt finish rather than half Matt, half gloss, led lights at front slightly different, and it comes with 1tb hard drive I believe, I have read they have made it slightly quieter by making the fan not spin as hard, which could have a diverse effect of it getting hotter, me personally don't have a problem with much noise the original made
