You've got it lucky, I posted the Xbox one 1tb version of this deal and people have made it -140 degrees cold without explanation but its definitely the cheapest price on sale at this instant. At least it saved me money and hopefully some others.

No, there are no taxes or duties that need to be paid.
If there was an issue with the unit how would returns work? Would it have to be done through Amazon France and would the customer service only provide support in French

No you just use Amazon France via Google Chrome and everything is translated to english. Their customer service has an option to email them in English. They will ask you to send item and they will send replacement prior to that. It's same and easy as Amazon UK

A great deal, heat added. the only downsize is estimated delivery is 28th-31st December. love the deal but gonna try my chances to get something as decent but before christmas. if not then to give it a go on boxing day.
