Darth vader printed on the console. If it has his face on it you got the right one :smiley:, non darth print one would be a plain regular ps4 console.

Watch out when buying these 1tb PS4's, a lot of them are the 1st generation CUH-1100 models. The new model is the CUH-1200 model which has had significant hardware upgrade improving.
the new hardware draws 25% less power from the wall. That's a huge energy saving and also means the new PS4 runs cooler and quieter.
Sony has achieved all this by utilising a smaller motherboard, higher density memory and a redesigned Blu-ray drive.

So all in all although the package seems a good deal it is in fact older generation stock being cleared.
Before you lay down any cash, ask to check the packaging for the console.

Around where it designates the storage capacity on the box it will also display the model number. If it says CUH-1200, or similar, then you're in luck, that's the new updated PS4. If it says CUH-1100 or the like, then you need to look elsewhere.

Just did some hunting around. CUH 1216b is indeed the newer C Chassis - the CUH 1216 designation confirms that. The DLC codes should be in the game case from what I've read.

Yes I also like to know if this is new chassis or not. The b lettering at the end of the model seems to indicate it might not be?

I will add, be careful when ordering and picking up. There's a regular star wars edition, and this proper darth vader print special edition. They're the same price. Make sure you pick the darth one and make sure that's the one they give you. Lady was a bit confused when i was picking up.

Got this on release from Ireland. Not that amazed by it to be fair!

Can't even see the Star Wars logos which are printed all over the front unless you look at it from an angle.

Would have liked a few Star Wars boot up/eject sounds for the money - much like the Xbox 360 one.

Saying that it's going to retain more resale value than a bog standard PS4 - especially in a few years. Haven't even played Battlefront yet!
