I purchased the same model but in deep red last year. It makes really good popcorn! You have to make sure you have a large bowl near the spout to catch it all when its popping. I use a clean tea cloth to cover at that stage to prevent it escaping! This Air Drys the corn so no fats, just use the measure provided and within a minute the fan driven heat builds up and it starts to pop!
Good price.

Good buy, but where can you buy the popping corn? It used to be quite hard to source :disappointed:

Any supermarket...
Huge bags are pretty cheap... Asda etc.
Cracking price for this and my other half absolutely loves popcorn, so this is ideal with Xmas just around the corner!

This product should be banned. You could
drive the Cinema Popcorn counter bankrupt.

Damn, just ordered from Amazon for almost £18. - Thanks O/P will cancel with Amazon.
As for the actual kernels, you can get them from any Asian shop. I bought some last week. I think I paid about £2 for 1Kg. That is more than enough for weeks of film nights

I know I'm probably being dim but how do you make the popcorn sweet? Can you add stuff to the corn machine or you have to wait till its popped and in the bowl? Thanks x

When I make popcorn in the large saucepan, I add either honey or sugar before the kernals have popped. Not sure how you do it in one of these things though.
You can't add anything in the machine, like oil or sugar. Once the popcorn are ready in the bowl, spray some oil spray directly on the popped corn. Tesco do rapseed oil spray for £1.50. Then season with sugar or salt. This machine makes really nice crunchy popcorn. I find that if you fill the measure cup to the top it will waste less kernels. If you fill the measure cup half way as there is less weight a lot of unpopped kernels fly out into the bowl or floor. But you can always pop them back in.
