Yeah I liked it enough to buy 2, one for the DSLR and one for the camcorder. Gonna take some serious photography to fill one of those

Unless you shoot in RAW then the file size is around 30MB per shot then it hold s considerably less. My camera is only 20.1 megapixel and can only hold 800 - 900 on a 32 gig card.

Yep. That is why I was looking at larger cards. This should be ideal. Of course the graphics for what they hold does state that it is according to settings and not everyone uses RAW, but then those that want a bigger card such as ourselves probably always like to have RAW

Yup you pre-empted it, but PNY cards are horribly unreliable in my experience.

There will always be haters of that whatever it is by whoever it is, and cannot speak for anyone elses experiences which are probably equally horrific with the negative experiences of any other person that dislikes any other model from any other retailer.

I'm sure if you run the relevant software you can see which manufacturer has actually made these cards, which are branded as required. I've not had any issues with PNY at all, which is purely anecdotal of course.

4K recording requires a minimun standard of a UHS-I U3 card with a minimum write speed of 30 MB/s
This card is a UHS-I U3 with a write speed of upto 60 MB/s = so yes, it should be suitable for 4K recording according to the tables and data provided.
And the speed table in post 3 does refer to 4K video at the bottom of the table, stating 4K video capacity of 6 hours !!
I do not have personal experience of using these cards for 4K, and my reply is to the best of my knowledge from the data provided by both PNY and the SD Association

Sadly users on here generally are pro Samsung and anti anything else. Be it ssd's, memory cards, phones, TVs, appliances etc. Funnily enough, Samsung previously used to be the worst for reliability in my own experience (though things have improved in recent years)
