Seems cheap enough gift for someone you have to get a present for but dont really want to spend much on because you don't like them, like the mother in law.
personalised photo mug for £3.50 delivered (normally £10.50 including delivery), if ordered by 11.59pm on Wed 9 Dec. If you're after a cheap and cheerful Christmas gift, this code might be just your cup of tea.
How to get your mug:
Log in or register at Truprint, then pick a personalised 11oz collage mug* or an 11oz single image photo mug*. Note: the deal isn't valid on Truprint's other photo mugs.
Follow the instructions to upload your photo(s) and create your mug. One per person.
Enter the MSE Blagged code SANTAMUG15 at the checkout and the price will go down to £3.50 including delivery (£1 for the mug, £2.50 for delivery).
Standard estimated delivery time is 4-6 working days, but Truprint says it may take 1-2 days longer.

Just a note - you need to use the maximum amount of photos allowed to make sure you have pictures around the whole mug. I ordered one of these a few months ago and only used 9 photos instead of 13 (i think) and the mug turned up off center and with a white gap on one side before the handle. Didn't realise until after i ordered but it was still nice

Nice find OP...
Just ordered one for my sister of her son and grand-daughter, will be a nice little stocking filler as he lives down south so she doesn't see him or the baby as much as she'd like.
Would have been nice to make the mother in law scowl but I'd rather make my sis smile.

Fab deal. Cheaper than Snapfish and photobox at the mo.
Have been using snapfish & photobox for years to order personalised mugs for friends and fam.

yeah, the site's driving me nuts. I upload a 1000x1000 image and it crops it, so I resize to 525x525, re-upload and it nags about low resolution but still crops it aaagggghhh. Not obvious how to delete photos either.

I always wondered why mother-in-laws were stereotyped so much as being evil cows but now that I have one I completely understand. Stereotypes aint' so bad after all...

Can you not choose single image mug and make your own collage/montage in an online photo editor?

I eventually realised that it was throwing a wobbler because my image was square, so I pasted it onto a landscape background roughly 4:3 aspect ratio, added a border round my image, then it worked OK....
..but now I find the code won't work for me....aaaggghhhh
EDIT: it was actually my postcode it had problems with not the code, mug now ordered for 3.50! cheers OP. :-)

Ordered three on separate accounts operated by the three members of my household
No problems uploading pics and the WYSIWYG editor worked fine for me. I would prefer to be able to change the order of the photos myself, but you get to choose which one you want to feature most prominently and then you can hit the 'shuffle' button as many times as you like until the layout looks right. The system automatically resizes the pics to ensure they knit together to make a neat collage. I have ordered mugs from Truprint in the past (always with a voucher code) and have found the quality to be excellent. Thanks OP

Mine arrive today and it's utter crap. Looks nothing like the 'sample' photos on the website, the photos printed all blurry and have 'printer lines' all through them, eventhough the ones I uploaded were exceptional quality taken with an SLR camera. Rubbish quality print even for the price. No way it could be given as a gift looking like this! Have emailed a complaint.
My mum ordered one too that arrived the same time and although hers is not quite as bad as mine, it's still very very poor and has printer lines through it as well, and the pictures are dull and grainy on hers too. I have ordered printed mugs from photobox before that were a thousand times better.

The lines are banding I think, printer heads need cleaning or something. so it wont be how they all go out maybe its just some where missed due to having loads more then usual to do. Hopefully it'll get sorted and you get extra.

That does indeed look cr*p - it looks like it slipped through quality control when it shouldn't have. I've ordered several mugs from Truprint in the past and have always been very pleased with the results. I've got three more on the way which I hope will be up to scratch. Keep us posted on Truprint's response.

Thanks guys, Truprint replied quickly and said they have shipped me out a replacement so will see how that one comes out.
Here's a pic I managed to take of my mums- the lines arent as bad but the photos have been printed much more grainy than they should be. I ordered photo prints of all these exact same photos and they printed very nicely on regular photo sized, so sized down to fit on a mug they should not look this bad.

Re-print arrived today, SO much better and had obviously been quality checked properly this time. So anyone with a dodgy one like mine it's worth getting in touch to have it re-printed.
