I've had one of these bikes for a couple of years and can't rate it highly enough. At this price it's a real bargain. Good quality and quite light it's great for commuting or just going out on long comfortable rides at a decent pace. If you'd rather have it delivered it'll only cost £2.99 for standard delivery.

Great for fitness or leisure... Which is it better for?

You can take "leisure" as a lower level than fitness, though leisure riding will soon bring some fitness benefits. Presumbaly, if you take to it, "leisure" morphs into "fitness". I guess they are trying to say that if you start off easy and then progress a bit in distance this bike will cover both. It's a starter bike. If you buy it, enjoy it and make progress you'll soon want to upgrade but it could still be a handy runaround. There's an argument to say that cycling a heavy basic bike will improve your fitness to the point where you've progressed enough to know you need/want a better bike. It's cheap enough to be worth a try. But if you are already any sort of cyclist you'll probably want something better.

Seriously tempted. Do you know how much it weighs? Can any bike aficionados point to similar bikes for the sake of comparison
Thanks

It's about 13 kilos which isn't half bad at this price point. The components are good quality, easy twist grip shimano gears, quick release wheels etc. It gets pretty good reviews too. Most bikes at this price point aren't half so well put together but, I'm no expert, so it would be useful to hear from someone else. It's also a really good looking bike and I love mine to bits.
