you can get 2.5kg of fresh potatoes at tesco for 39p at the moment :wink:
but the supermarkets basics potatoes like these are prices at about 15 - 20p everywhere i think

....and you have to use the 2.5kg more quickly before they go off unlike the tinned with far longer expiry! (As rightly pointed out by the wife!)
