Argos are terrible for that. I had the same problem after reserving a Doh Vinci Ultimate Studio - though I didn't travel as far as you (20mile round trip)

my boys love this but is a peace of junk. not worth 30 let alone 60 pound think smyths have it for 50

So pleased my kids are too old for this. Sympathies to all those having to fork out for what looks like a pretty run of the mill toy. :confused:
