It's a very good phone, my wife has one and I'm tempted to get one for myself.
But if you buy an international handset if/when it goes wrong oneplus will hang you out to dry. This happened with my +one. They wouldn't even offer an invite to buy a new handset from them.

Basically is stock 'PURE' android, no bloatware. The only change is app permissions and slightly more customisability (dark mode/accent colour). I have the OnePlus 2, and the OS is similar to the OnePlus X. I think a few performance tweaks can still be made though.

That's not the spec, it's just marketing bs copied and pasted from OnePlus's website. If you scroll down to the spec sheet, it says hydrogen -
On the other hand, Banggood chat say it's the Global version. So the real question is, has anyone here actually got a Oneplus X from Banggood?

? This chip technology is three years old. I could understand if it was a new mid range phone but I mean you can get SD808 / SD810 phones for this price. Before you even turn it on its generations out of date and gonna lag like hell running marshmallow.

The only problem with this is that it's the china version (which for some reason OnePlus has no problem getting lots of cheap, invite-free stock to many retailers, even though china is probably one of their smallest markets :neutral_face:), so it only supports some 4G networks in the UK, as mentioned earlier. And it's white.

i wouldn't get this if you are partial to software updates in the future. i got the OPO and we have seemingly been forgotten. after the OTA update to cm12 my phone wouldnt play videos on twitter and web browser so i was forced to flash Oxygen OS which is working fine exept i no longer can take 4k pictures... , and there is no v2 for OPO. and OTA updates no longer work so i have to flash everytime which is a ball ache especially since there has only been minor updates (like stage fright).

Marshmallow scheduled for Q1 2016, great looking phone, but software issues , receiving ota updates at the moment to rectify these at the moment, fingers crossed. Communication with OnePlus is sporadic.

Also bought one on invite a few weeks ago... Oh well, the experience has been great so far!
The phone is gorgeous, like a Nexus 4 and iPhone had a baby. It is very slippery as people have mentioned, when putting it on any surface, just like the Nexus 4, because of the glass back.
I haven't been plagued with any of the previous software or camera complaints, except for the SD card error which was just updated. I haven't tried bluetooth to the car yet, so can't comment on that functionality, but bluetooth otherwise is stable.
The screen is gorgeous, better than my OnePlus One. It also seems to run smoother than my OPO. It also has, this might sound weird, but a really nice quiet vibrator inside. Makes the UI really connective.
My only real gripe with it is the hardware buttons are unlit, so you're tapping on intuition when in the dark. Otherwise a brilliant phone and a steal at this price.

I have this phone, bought from OnePlus via the invite system and I can vouch that it is indeed ridiculously impressive for its price. I have only used banggood once before for a portable charger and the postage was quick. I'm not sure about buying a phone from them though,

Agree too, camera is pretty bad which is a shame as that's quite important to me. Everything else about it is great for me - I don't mind using the case and I haven't noticed the Bluetooth issue people talk about, though so far I have only used it to answer an incoming call and it worked fine. I'm considering selling it and seeing what comes along after Christmas with a better camera, but if you can live with the camera I've found it to be a great phone in every other respect.

The 801 SoC was and has been said to of been the best one, certainly better than the 810 which was plauged with overheating problems, as for this phone, why would anyone bother with all the software issues, the company shipping not being trusted and better phones for the same money, yes its cheap, but Id rather spend a few quid extra and get a known branded phone from a reputable shop with a secure warranty, but hey thats just me.

Mine connects ok too but theres no contact list meaning you can only recieve calls.
You can buy an app that fixes it but Oneplus should be fixing this.

See, back when the OnePlusOne started, it was quite a good deal.
I'm struggling to see any good reason for buying this over a £100-115 Smart Ultra 6 though (ZTE Blade S6). Anyone got one? :smiley: Hardware's pretty comparable, software's much more debatable but not exactly a walk in the park on the OnePlus* either from what I've seen.

Redmi note 2 stable not had it reboot on me once in nearly a month. Software is updated all the time via 3rd party and official.
Not used bluetooth myself but wifi is flawless
Get the prime version. Get a 2.2 Octa core.

You had to prove yourself to One Plus with the Samsung first, it's actually a compliment. Or a marketing gimmick.
I'll second what SilverBlack said above, good phone, iffy software. They're aware of a lot of the bugs, however based on the forum posts they've promised a lot of One Plus Two fixes and then gone quiet now the OPX is out. I'm very happy with it though.

I have this phone, the software is stable. In fact the software is pretty good and is very close to pure Android.
It's a quality looking device and pretty happy with it.
Main gripes
1) Camera isn't great.
2) It is very slippery in the hand.

The sd card problem has been fixed with an update.
But still has problems with bluetooth contacts not syncing with your car,notification led cycles through all colours instead of a different colour for email,txt whatapp etc.Proximity sensor sometimes doesnt work,phone vibrates constantly while on a call.

I'm with you on the pure Android experience. My Galaxy S6 which has some of the fastest hardware in a phone, runs like a sack of crap with Samsung/EE ROM. Once Marshmallow is out I'm going to get a custom ROM for a stock experience.
