Fire Tv is adequate for Kodi and Youtube. Shield is great if you're a retro/Nvidia Pc gamer.

I think it's good nvidia brought something like this to the market. Most of those competing in this market are low spec'd. This adds another dimension for those willing to use the extra oomph

Why? It's nowhere near as good as this. Will probably be at least 3 years before Amazon sell a box with anywhere near the power of the Shield.
On Firefox tried beta translate did its little thing with auf Deutsche in its place but page still in German,anyone tried with Firefox.Use Chrome so no real problem translating.

Emulation, Kodi, YouTube Nexflix plus some quality titles like Half Life and Portal etc.
Great little device (its surprising just how slim and little it is), have 2, one in the livingroom (500gb) and a 16gb in the bedroom (no clicky hard drive working during the night.

Got the 500gb a month back. It's not fantastically different to an M8 box but the smoothness of operation is worth it. Plus, the space fills up quick with PSX roms.. Not to mention Geoforce now 3 month trial. Controller is quality as well
