Excellent price for the Nutribullet's main rival! This one also allegedly crushes ice, unlike the Nutribullet. Today only at a price that makes it a great gift!

Yes correct. But that's just like saying on a Mercedes C class deal that an S class is better, or on a £50 tablet deal an iPad Air is better- your comment would have had some worth if you'd have said the IQ can also be bought for £50 or thereabouts. However, as it stands, it's a pretty pointless comment, because it can't. The IQ is not worth the additional premium over this which is a steal at £50.

900 watts is much better - the 600w nutribullet is a useless machine when it comes to ice crushing - mine lasted 7 days before the ice won - so hopefully the stronger motor in this one will stand up to more - good deal for one this powerful
oh and it was just those ice chips that I tried to crush in the nutribullet - not even cubes !! - so don't skimp, go for a more powerful motor every time

I have one of these (900W) and can confirm it does crush ice. You end up with a fine slush. I've been making milkshakes and frappacinos and the texture is the same as what you would get from well known coffee shops.
It will also blend ginger and apples etc. for making smoothies. I've been really impressed. The only thing I don't like is that it's difficult to clean the inside of the base where it screws onto the cup. After using milk it gets a bit stinky. Also, it specifically says not to blend hot food.

Arguably the best way to go is with a masticating juicer as they dont oxidize the juice anywhere near as much as blender types. Oxidization does cause some loss of nutrients and certainly causes the juice to go off quicker. However, they are far more expensive, and slower to juice. Something to think about...the aficionado's choice probably and they do last for years.

If it is required to just make juices and soups then this will be adequate, if it is required for cooking requirements then a blender is better and more controllable. It would be best to discuss with your wife what her uses would be. For more information just put Food Blenders into Google and read from the various information sites.

Ordered via Flubit (saving £2.00 approximately only) and should've known full well they would cancel. Poor service. Very poor service. Again and again Flubit seem to cancel orders because they're no longer able to source products at the advertised price. They say there are no stocks remaining but this is not strictly true. Lesson learn't here is do not buy from Flubit unless you're prepared to have your order cancelled. Should an offer be good anyway buy direct from the retailer. Like Flubit over-all but they need to be more fair with people of whom are regularly supporting and remaining exceptionally loyal to them.

Vodka and sherbert lemons put it in the ninja and blend until smooth. It is lovely and lethal as you forget it is actually neat vodka. Good way of making friends at festivals too
Bought a packet of gift tags to get free delivery. Gift tags came today. Signed for, in a box which is roughly the size of 300 Christmas lights. Most probably cost a lot then if they had offered everyone free delivery on the nutri bullet.

Just tried it and made the most disgusting drink ever. I put some left over fruit and kale in and it was awful. I'd have been better just eating the fruit. Really need to do some research next time and I dont think bananna will be gettting added next time.

Guys, I have wrapped mine up without checking. Can people please confirm it just arrives in a brown cardboard box?
i.e. not retail packaged like this?

For anyone looking for protein to add to their drinks, here's a great deal http://www.myprotein.com/sports-nutrition/impact-whey-protein/10530943.html with code POWER
(I only had flavoured whey as often drink it with milk as meal replacement. the flavour may clash with the fruits and vegs used in your smoothie)
myprotein (who despite being owned by the hut are one of the best sites for protein) 5kg (best value) 2.02% TCB (73p), rewards with MP (I think 1% to use against future transactions)
next day delivery free (normally only for orders over £50 and 20% off using POWER £36.74 (£35.65 after rewards and cashback)
25g is a good amount to add, so that's 200 servings, or under 18p per smoothie
whey is good at filling you up so if you're having a smoothie in lieu of a meal, this will help stave off hunger
it also helps muscle growth for gym goers and especially vegetarians who may struggle to get the full requirement of protein through diet

oh and it was just those ice chips that I tried to crush in the nutribullet - not even cubes !! - so don't skimp, go for a more powerful motor every time

Have been holding out to purchase the nutribullet for a christmas present as I thought it was the best on the market. But after a little research this one seems be better! Great price!
Lidl's latest magazine (not on website yet) shows they will be offering their Silvercrest version on 18/1, but it's 700W, not 900W and 1,900 rpm, not 2,100rpm. On the other hand, it will be £29.99...
It will also blend ginger and apples etc. for making smoothies. I've been really impressed. The only thing I don't like is that it's difficult to clean the inside of the base where it screws onto the cup. After using milk it gets a bit stinky. Also, it specifically says not to blend hot food.

you need to decide if you want 600w or 900w (ninja)
I don't really understand whats different between this and a normal kitchen blender tbh, but seems to encourage healthiness anyway so whatever.
Nutri marketing hype!
Lower 700w motor but extra functionality.
Nutri Ninja PRO (BL450)
I've had it about a month now and all I'll say is I'm not sure if it's in my head but it doesn't seem to blend as well as it did brand new. Lots more bits of seeds left than I remember. I'm considering returning it.
The 35p hand towel was a great find aswel for free delivery so thanks to both, I refused to pay for delivery.
Think ninja will be the choice, the ice breaker being the deal breaker
I'd suggest using the question "is the nutri ninja easy to clean?" or similar...
You're very welcome.:stuck_out_tongue:
Thanks to OP!!

Heat added and ordered - thanks!
I'm kinda over this juicing fad personally but looking at specs this seems much better were as the NutriBullet is more fashionable, but less practical.
Would choose this at £50 every time
Bought mine from Costco for £69.99. The deal was posted on here in July. Well worth the extra £20 imo

Never ordered from JL before. Who does most of their deliveries?
My wife wants one for Xmas and I have no idea whether to go for something like this or the cheaper breville blender posted a few days ago. What is this better at than the breville?
I bought the 700w on black friday and now just bought this one- I couldn't resist at the price. A Christmas gift for my parents, Im sure this nutri is better than the one they're currently using. If not I'll take it back.
