Would anyone still recommend the Note Edge for £330 new? Or should I look elsewhere for better VFM

I was looking for a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 as well at the time and also tried the same tactic as you, trying to get it for cheaper but Amazon wasn't having any of it. Sorry to hear about the issues with the phone.

Managed to snap one up yesterday after regularly checking on the of chance another one came up. It was more expensive but I had already sent a snotty email to the CS complaining that less than two hours after the original listings the other night they had put another one on in worse condition but for £65.00 more!

They replied that as a one time only instance they would price match the original listing if I found another warehouse deal.

Good as their word they have after I saw one yesterday morning.

It's arrived today so I will report back on the condition when I get home. Hoping it will be all good as it's only supposed to be damaged original packaging.

UPDATE: pretty **** off! The phone body and screen were faultless but the speaker seems to be screwed. It crackles intermittently and the volume drops in and out. Now I know why it was probably returned. I would have thought a simple test by Amazon would have picked up this fault when it was originally returned. So much for their testing.

Looks like it's back to the drawing board for a cheaper Note 4 unless I can convince Amazon to replace it.

Mine came yesterday along with a Nexus 6 and both were described as Very Good but I would class them as being as New with accessories still sealed.
Testing them to see which to keep and tried the Nexus first and loving how snappy it feels and I’ve upgraded it to the official Marshmallow update already.
I’m more drawn to the Nexus but the size and weight might just tip in into the slightly too big category so will see how the handling is for a few days.
The Note 4 looks great also and I’m used to its form factor as it’s close to my Note 3.
Note 4 ~£231 v Nexus 6 ~£180.

Well turned up today, box was already open. Looks excellent no marks as can see. And was missing the charger (plug was there) so got on live chat and spoke very well to them said about the missing parts and the fact it was just thrown in the box and was already on etc. Managed to get a cracking discount so had a utter bargain cost me £195 in the end so put the discount towards a new LED case.

Box was a bit tatty, but phone and accessories were like new.

For the people that's received their product in close to perfect condition, did the description say that it had scratches when you bought it or were they the ones that did not specify any scratches in the description?

Definitely as complained before with my Note 3 as it had no accessories and the condition was not as described. Got 10% off per issue so happy with the 20% as the screen itself was fine.

Bagged one for this price and no mention of any marks and in original packaging but hopefully it has no accessories and I can claim an extra 10% discount. :smiley:

Someone is having a larf here. I looked at the models on offer - one has scratches on the screen, the other has a part of the screen not working and both were around 270. Even with a 30% discount that would be way over price.

hot! purchased a m7 ages ago from warehouse, said it had a few scratches but when it arrived it looked brand new so i hope this will be a similar experience!

Best to go for the ones with original packaging and not scratched. Easier to sell with the original packaging.
