These usually sell for £10 each but for today only as part of their advent deal they are half price at £5. Can be combined with 3 for 2 offer which means for today only you can get 3 bottles for the price of one!!
Can't help but feel slightly amused at the anger & frustration in your previous posts. No one is saying it the same ingredients or even the exact same quality or results- more so just like minded people sharing what can not be disputed as a terrifically good deal, twice the size and a 3rd of the price of your precious Liz Earle! Just to add 100's of reviews on the boots site would intact say you are in fact wrong and show preference to the No7 version. Happy cleansing
Always use Liz Earle but this has recently been recommended to me. Perfect excuse to try it now.

Ladies (and guys for that matter), does anyone know how this stacks up to Liz Earle? My wife also likes Superdrug's alternative too. Nice find - a great price.

It doesn't compare to Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish. This Boots one is full of chemicals, it doesn't smell nice, it doesnt rub nicely onto the skin and simply doesn't leave the skin feeling like the Liz Earle does. I was very disappointed with it as I'd been looking for a cheaper alternative to Liz Earle and I am a great fan of Boots No. 7 range in general. The only similarities are that they call this a hot cloth cleanser (even though it doesn't feel like one) and they've put it into the pump dispenser. It just feels like any run of the mill cheapish white cleansing lotion really. And this is me comparing it to the "new" Liz Earle. Long time users of Cleanse & Polish will have noticed that even it isn't as luxuriously textured and scented as it used to be, though it's still good. I suspect some of the expensive botanical ingredients were cut back when Avon took the company over a few years ago.

Has anyone got the list of the offers boots have each day this month on no7? Can't find the original post!
And the super drug alternative is equally as good in my opinion and half price at the moment (£2.95 with muslin too) but the no7 is definitely just as good as LE and SuperDrug in my opinion.

Absolutely disagree that the No. 7 is as good as Liz Earle. Maybe your skin is happy with anything to cleanse it so it doesn't matter to you. I think that anyone with both products on their face would pick the Liz Earle as the better product in a blind test. The scent and the texture are nothing alike and a look at the ingredients list on each seals the deal.

What are Boots.com like for Christmas deliveries anyone know? There are items on the 20 and 21st that I would like to order but what are the chances they will still arrive in time? I won't be able to get to a big store so it has to be online?
Thanks guys
leahmarie to Shirl
3 Dec 151#42
They usually do deliver quickly however they have been taken a while longer due to the high demand of orders. I am guessing the items on the week commencing the 21st are probably unlikely to arrive in time for Christmas! :disappointed: hope this helps!

I'm with you on this one, i've never known someone get so het up over a cleanser!!
I used to use the Eve Lom one and was given a sample of the Liz Earle and thought it was a cheap knock off! However now I use mostly butters such as shea/cocoa butter as my skin products and pure raw organic coconut oil is my preferred oil of choice for with the muslin cloths. My skin prefers this to any product laden with preservatives etc.

Absolutely no anger or frustration in the slightest and I find your perception to be as utterly bizarre as it is wrong. Cheaperbythe12 specifically posted to ask people who have used both, how the No. 7 compares to the Liz Earle so I gave him my honest opinion, based on having experience of both. To give a true comparison, pointing out the difference in ingredients, texture and result was necessary. I never at any point said that Boots claim their product has the same ingredients or even the exact same quality or results. No idea where you got that from. However someone did say that the cheaper one was as good in their opinion, which I disagreed with. So, really no idea of the point of your whole post really.
In your own personal experience, which did you find to be better?

3 Dec 15#69
I didn't force my judgement, I balanced that post with mine which was the opposite. I don't drink so am not "boosy" and am not a fellow.

Resorting to calling people names - very immature. As I clearly posted, I WANTED to find a cheaper alternative to the Liz Earle product,as I find it to be expensive for my budget. So... clearly I'm not a snob. I would never have looked back if it had worked for me. So yes, it really is a shame that it doesn't work for me. I was very disappointed that it didn't suit my skin. Nowhere did I say anything otherwise. You should maybe read posts more than once rather than posting insults as a knee-jerk reaction.

I need to look on here more often ( even though I'm trying to look on here LESS often )
Oddly enough I decided to try the hot cloth method of cleansing today after getting excited about the Clinique deal , so I googled it and was THRILLED when I found them at £5 each and on 3 for 2 , it ''said'' add to basket so I added 3 and it said OOS online and I had a feeling it had appeared on HUKD then!
Never mind - I went for the £2.95 Superdrug one which is a smaller bottle but still VERY good reviews and comes with a cloth , but I bought some spare cloths elsewhere anyway
Plus I had already bought the Olay face brush otherwise I would have definitely gone for the £12 one on the 20th , so a good thing I only paid around £10 for it with some Amazon giftcard balance I had left , so I paid slightly less for both things I wanted and the reviews are still very good so am still a happy bunny and our skin will be GLOWING in the new year at this rate ( hopefully! ) :stuck_out_tongue:
