This quadcopter has never been so cheap and at this price point must be the cheapest in it's class. Bargain.

The range on these is brilliant, better than my eyesight. Which is why I lost mine after owning it for 12 hours. Arrived yesterday from the China warehouse.

mine arrived really fast, alot faster than expected.
regarding the quad i cant figure out how to change the modes and is there a 1 press return on it?
I would have accepted that as well. Unfortunately they haven't offered me such option. Oh well... Maybe that's good after all. Not like I need another quadcopter

They offered to ship mine from the China warehouse. Given the price and that I'm not in a rush I was happy with that.

Weird. Initially I was offered a credit/swap for a different product but got a full refund immediately after I requested it. No problem here.
Have been buying from them for over a year and this is a first slip on their side. Not a reason not to use them in my opinion.

Yeah me too, told them to refund me and I was disgusted with them, they apologised and offered me 6% off my next order which is random, won't be using them again

I have requested a paypal refund.

20 Dec 15#69
Ended up raising a dispute with PayPal,questioned them as to why it hadn't been dispatched and their reply was to check dispatch times, replied telling them it's 1-2 days and they then said they would ensure it would be dispatched in 3-5 days (6 days ago)

I requested a refund if it could not be despatched a few days ago, they refunded me shortly after. I would recommend you do the same, they don't have stock.

I would request a refund in that case. I think they had some stock issues and sold more than should have. I am fairly certain they have already shipped all the orders they could have fulfilled.
Oh, they will most likely offer you to either change your order or credit your Gearbest Wallet. Just tell them that you want a PayPal refund.

I ended up getting a Q7 (cheap Syma X5C clone) off eBay for ~£16 delivered.
Not as good of a quad, but UK source, with stock, and unlike gearbest they didn't act like scamsters.

Mine arrived safe. The packaging is different to what is on gearbest but for £15.53 delivered you can't grumble.

Ok. Mine has just turned up via yodel out of the blue. No other emails apart from initial order confirmation.

11 Dec 15#59
Just send them a reply stating that you want a refund and they will issue one. They are doing what all Chinese Internet retailers do but there is no offence intended it's just the culture difference in how they shop.
I've had refunds in the past off them so the will do it you just need to push them a little bit.
My parcel is now with the local yodel courier and will be delivered today. I'll let you guys know when it arrives.
TehJumpingJawa
11 Dec 15#58
They then offer two refund 'options'
Who do these jokers think they are?
They can't supply the goods, but think they can keep my money?!?
Gearbest should be banned from hukd IMHO; I will never be ordering from them again.

My parcel has arrived at yodel. It's currently at the Hatfield terminal. Anyone else had any updates on orders yet ?

9 Dec 15#54
Yodel have updated my shipping to add a delivery date. According to them it should be delivered before or by 11th December. Still nothing more that an order manifest thought as the physical parcel has not arrived with yodel yet.
I'll keep you guys updated.

Don't bother contacting their CS:

I'd rather they didn't reply at all, than reply with such an insultingly stupid stock response.
Bad CS is worse than no CS.

I've just checked my tracking number with yodel and it says "your parcel will be with us soon" and the date the manifest was made (8th December @ 3:00pm). No update since then.
I'll keep you lot updated on how it goes and if it arrives.

I have placed about 10 orders with Gearbest from their China warehouse and had no problems with delivery of any of them. One product was dodgy and was replaced by them and one order containing some small items must have got lost somewhere on the way as it took about 2 months to get delivered.
Generally I'm quite happy with them.

Obviously you wouldn't be mounting such kit on a <£20 quad

Do not use gearbest. They use Yodel, who stated they delivered a parcel whilst abroad (which they didnt). PayPal won't help because Gearbest have given a tracking number. Gearbest won't help either. £25 out of pocket. Be warned.

Gearbest have the worst customer support. I ordered a quadcopter about a month ago and it wasn't working as it kept automatically going of in mid air. Contacted them and after first reply they stopped replying. Currently got a PayPal claim with them.
It's a slightly different animal. Uses larger, direct drive motors and 2S (7.4V) batteries. From what I know it's not a bad flier. Still, more expensive than U807. Probably depends whether you think the camera is worth extra £5 or so and whether one needs one. Also, check the cost of spare batteries and such.

Not really due to the fact it's direct from China and won't arrive in time for Christmas. Also there is a risk of import duty.
The grarbest quad is dispatched from Eu and should get through with no additional charges.
