Can confirm that I have received the 3DS without any hassle, just as I would receive any other amazon order.

The New Nintendo 3DS plays ALL games made for the 3DS. There is ONE game that is exclusive to the New 3DS and that is Xenoblade Chronicles - it's the only game that won't work on older Nintendo 3DS consoles.

Oh and I forgot to mention some things in the original post -

New means this 3DS has NFC that supports Amiibo figurines. Touch your Amiibo figurine on the console to transfer data to the games you play. Cool feature.

New means louder speaker volume (something I really appreciate).

New means a longer battery life.

New Nintendo 3DS supports interchangeable faceplates so that the design of your 3DS Is suited to your preference.

Yes the 3D tracking is much improved as works very well.....I just wish there were more games...have a feeling we wont be seeing many more though....

Are Nintendo 3DS consoles region free? And can you access the UK store and play UK games with this France model?

This is so confusing. I'm after 3DS XL for children who want Pokémon 3D games. On the other thread people are arguing about the old version being not worth money not great console. Will other 3D games will work on this NEW 3D XL console?

I believe there is only one game that works with this 'New' 3DS and that's Xenoblade Chronicles....bit of a waste really...wish I'd never bought one...

Game load times are improved, and general OS performance, the shop etc are much faster. You won't see any improvements in game.

Forgive my ignorance, I know the new 3DS comes with a faster processor, but I didn't think it makes any difference to the games? Or at least the games that aren't designed to take advantage of the extra capabilities? How is it faster?
