Spotted in Manchester Arndlae store in basement level all the bundle boxes (3 months entertainment or 2 months movies or 2 days sports passes) are already at the 40% off normal price so £14.99 a saving of £10 on rrp.

Should get pretty hot if nationwide - plus if people know what bundle is.
Plus obviously cold as the usual muppets vote first.

This is the price these NOW TV boxes have always been at everywhere really. It was only £24.99 on the market when released. Then it was £19.99 with it generally getting discounted to £14.99 by most retailers. No retailer worth their salt has been selling it for £24.99 for ages. And the recent deals have been £10 or £12.50 region buys. Sorry cold.

Your talking about the older white boxes there, these newer boxes only came out about 2 or 3 months ago

In which case I stand corrected then. What does it have in terms of features or selling points that the previous version does not?

They sell for more than £15 on ebay for a start :-)
Main improvements are suport 1080 (although now tv itself is still only 720), faster processor so a bit nipper around the menus and an ethernet port so you don't have to depend on wifi.
Me, I'd just buy it for the now tv pass and sell the box :-)

As others may have mentioned, the black boxes are significantly faster than the older white ones.

definitely the old white boxes you're thinking of. This is a good price for the new black unit. Have some heat.

They had the empty boxes on the shelves in Worcester for the new black units with this deal but had been sent the old white ones instead. So it is nationwide but you might waste a journey like I did.

Just walked in to pick up said box, it's the old white boxes they're actually selling and not the black ones

That's quite CHEEKY of them to be currently selling the 1+ year old NowTV Box for ALMOST a shade near the current new NowTV Boxes are going for? (& with NO NowTV Passes on their old Boxes of any form in which to speak of too?), wow!, lol.

Requesting Guidance:
I have sky tv - full subscription - coming to an end soon.
When I renew direct with sky - can I drop the movies pack / entertainment pack - and somehow use this to add it back through my sky box (for the full HD rather than 720p)? I suspect - It'd would be much chearp this way?
If I have sky - what other advantages are there to buying one of these?
Thanks.

Yep!, u can cancel your Sky Movies Package, & simply just be rocking the NowTV Box Passes instead ... enjoy!. :-)
