Any idea how a size 6 would compare to kids sizes. My teen likes tops sized 12 - 13. Would size 6 be about right?

Difficult to say, I've got a tall skinny 11 yr old and a size 6 yellow crop top from new look was much too small for her, but usually a 6 or 8 top is OK , need to make sure it's not low cut or scoop neck as that could end up much lower on a child as they're shorter.
