Why don't our schools teach the silly sheep that the original price is vastly inflated to allow the retailer to still make a profit even with 50% off ?
Compared to the production and transport costs, the sale price would often be a fair starting price, but then they couldn't offer such huge discounts in order to con the masses into thinking it's a bargain.
