Been playing this all day. I'm really happy with the format. GHTV is a great idea and adds so much ongoing content to the game.
The additional buttons add challenge and require additional dexterity, however my left hand thinks it is changing strings when moving across and my right hand often moves down to follow - I've missed notes a few times because of this.
No need to spend money. After playing for a few hours I have amassed 25 song credits.

What's the 15% off? Some kind of staff discount or something ?

The 15% off is certainly makes me shopping at CEX all the more sweeter. Buy then resell lol, decent side earner.

To sell a new item as 2nd hand is illegal. It's vat fraud.
Don't get me wrong, I love cex it's a great shop.

And you don't think CEX know that....
No they write a receipt down on an envelope for you....that's why the queues are so long....
They can't advertise SH products as new because they aren't new [Legally]
Nearly everything we've bought from CEX has been unused and am glad, in a way, peoples ignorance or fear from scaremongering stories work, more choice for us and of course the 15% discount helps....

Hot. CEX often have brand new items in these days, I picked up Fallout 4 still sealed on release day

Thats because they have been freshly lifted off the back of the truck and sold to cex

There are some items that cex only buy sealed?
Lego dimensions stuff as an example, so that will be new!
Does irritate me slightly that you have to "open" most items so they're second hand/used before cex can buy it?
Would have thought"new and sealed" was more saleable but can't imagine people shop at cex for "new" stuff?

They will mostly likely HAVE to open it to check that the contents are correct, what if you bought your brand new item only to find that there was half a brick in there? You would have difficulty getting any money back as it was sealed when you bought it.
As for the legalities raised by radles, surely unless CEX bought direct from a warehouse and are selling as "brand new", it will be second hand as someone else has owned it, its a trade in store..... surely that's not a hard concept?

They are still buying off of an end user so as such it will always be second hand as (as far as I know), second hand relates to having a previous owner or user, it doesn't necessarily have to have been used??

Dont forget people, just ask to see the guitar before buying, if it looks battered then dont buy, simple

Grabbed this when it was £44.99 at Smyths. My brain hurt playing it but I'm finally registering the new button layout properly! Good fun once you get used to it.

CEX have lots of brand new gear but don't advertise it as new and if it comes in sealed they have to open it to check it, we know someone who works at one and they get PS4's, XO's, Phones.....etc....all unused.

That's a great price. I had cut myself off from spending anymore cash before Christmas, however I could pull together a few things to trade in.
Opening post
Also saw this for Xbox one and it's also the same price online.
