Yep it was indeed a scam. Anyone know who to initiate a claim on Amazon? My max delivery date was yesterday but I don't have the option to file a claim?
Do you have to wait a certain amount of time?
Oh well, a valuable lesson learnt

It's a gamble, but I think the purchase is still covered by Amazon?
Not sure about the 75 vouchers but surely a Nespresso purchase is still a purchase?!
Oh well, we'll see...

It's a deal, it's a steal, it's the sale of the f*ing century!" In fact, f* it, I think I'll buy one!
Cravendale is filtered. Some supermarkets do their own branded filtered milk too.
'Filtered milk goes through an extra, fine filtration system, which prevents souring bacteria from passing through.
The nutritional content of the milk is unaffected but the shelf life is increased.
The processes involved include, microfiltration, ultrafiltration and nanofiltration.
Microfiltration is the most commonly used process and is a pressure-activated separation process which uses a membrane that is permeable to substances with a low molecular weight but rejects material with a high molecular weight.
In the process of microfiltration of skimmed milk, bacteria are removed using ceramic filters with 1.4 micrometer holes to separate the milk from the bacteria. After this process, virtually all the bacteria present in the milk are removed.
The milk is then homogenised to standardise and evenly distribute the fat molecules, where it then undergoes the pasteurisation process before being chilled down quickly to 5ºC or less.
Microfiltration adds an extra level of cleanness which can extend shelf life up to 45 days when stored at temperatures of up to 7ºC and an average 7 days once opened.
Filtered milk is available in whole, semi skimmed or skimmed milk varieties.'
I can see why it would be a pain if you don't use it regularly, especially with milk not keeping

You can get a spare milk frother for approx £25, so no probs if one is sat in the dishwasher. Also Lidl do nespresso compatible pods for roughly half the price of the real ones.

I've tried various compatibles. Costco, Kenco, Aldi, etc, and they are dire! You cannot compare them to the Nespresso capsules.
Let's face it, if you have bought a machine like this then why would you even want to compromise on the quality of the coffee, even if it is half the price.

Lidl's ones are lovely
Aldi used to do some and they were really nice, but they stopped for some reason :disappointed:

Yeah I guess different machines work better for different scenarios, with me it's not a daily drink.
I'm not knocking the Latissima, it was a pain for me.

I agree, although it is personal taste/preference when it comes to coffee.
We stick to Nespresso pods, but if we happen to run out then the Taylors pods are OK to keep us going until our next batch of Nespresso pods arrives.

We find that milk keeps perfectly fine in the Lattissima's milk container, although we do use it every day so old milk isn't left in the container for more than a day or so.
As for cleaning, it's simply a case of holding down the clean button on top of the milk container after making your drinks. Other than that, we simply run the milk container and parts through the dishwasher 1-2 times per week. I never find it a chore to keep clean, aside from descaling every few months, which is to be expected for most coffee machines.

From what I could tell its for new customers only, if you go to their buy coffee page you should see 3 special gift boxes for new accounts (one of 150 capsules and 2 of 250) add one of them and go to basket and it should show you 2 gifts to choose from. I'm not 100% if it will work with the vouchers but I'd assume so as I think they just credit your account with £25 3x

Thank you, I appreciate your feedback - I've resisted all day, reason being that the inissia and aeroccino are much more compact in my small kitchen. It doesn't take up so much space that I can't have it on the counter 24/7 and therefore make darn good use of it!

I had a latissima, I sold it and went for a Inissia and a Dualit Frother, I prefer this set up. Cleaning etc is a pain with the latissima, the milk doesn't keep in it's own tank in the fridge, I find the Dualit easier to clean and can use it for other drinks.
Might be better for others, but this works best for me

I have one of these coming my way for Christmas! There is also a promo on their site if you buy either 150 or 250 capsules (new customers only) you get some free gifts!
It was £215 when it was ordered but Amazon have refunded the difference.

Glad this deal has helped some of you out. We own this machine and overall I'm rather impressed with it. In my opinion, Nespresso sell the best tasting coffee pods, but I'd have a bean to cup machine if we had the space in our kitchen. Sadly, our the wall units are slightly too low to fit a bean to cup machine underneath whilst allowing access to the top of the machine to insert beans etc. Hence why we opted for this instead.

Aeroccino you have to froth milk separately then add to cup. Lattisima you press button and does everything for you.
The Lattissima here is very good if you like milk based drinks like Latte/Cappucino. Coffee tastes great and is simple to use and maintain. I find that it is better to use filtered milk as it keeps better in the removable milk container plus tastes good and froths well too.
