Picked up two of these in Plymouth store, there were loads on the shelves.. Currently 12.50 a few places online but with subsequent delivery charges - if you're out and about this could be a good deal.

I didn't look into modifications much but just Google it, I'm sure there are tons articles on modding nerf guns. The main thing most people do is changing the spring. 2 minute job and even protective glasses can't save you from the wrath of the foam bullets

I'm gonna have to be the one who says this but the spectre blaster did not get many positive reviews. If colour does not matter I'd suggest to go for the nerf rebelle rapid red, same price in same store. Yes it's battery operated but smooth action and really good reviews. If you're buying two nerf guns at a time the best thing to go for is the nerf Elite Alpha Trooper from argos, £30 for 2. The best clip fed blaster ever made. My two cents after reading loads of reviews cause I was in business for two nerf guns as well. (ended up buying the alpha troopers)

Got any links? Looking to modify this one with other parts, the stock and the barrel.

I brought my 4 year old daughter a nerf and she loved it, wife in the other hand said it wasn't coming out at play dates. I never had anything like this when I was a kid, they're bloody fantastic

Nearly got my boys these. Then told off... :disappointed: the kids don't need anymore f*#$ing guns by the other half. Have some heat!
