Just seen dabs have some i5 6600k processors on sale for £129.99, says awaiting stock but good price none the same
At least the cracking price for In Win 901 case at £59.99 is in stock, normally means they actually have some

Is this the same as 390 or 390x in real world performance?

The i5 6600k is showing as £209.99 for me...got a link?
I had the 290 version of this card. For about 5 days before the inability of the cooler to operate at acceptable noise levels made me send it back. Lots of people had similar experiences though some thought it was great. YMMV.

Sapphire in France is 230 pounds + delivery - not 200 pounds.
So in this case better to add 20-30 and buy r9 390?

Just wait for DX12 to be supported by games in 2016 the benchmark shows R9 290X is going toe-to-toe with a GTX 980 Ti!!! 33% Faster Than GTX 980 with DX12 !!!

1 Dec 15#29
I'd go for 970 if you can get one near this price mark. The 290x is a superb card and will handle most things you can throw at it, provided you can live with the noise. The power difference between the two cards is comparatively slight. However, if you're into the nvidia eco-system, especially Shield, then 970 may be a better bet (if you can live with the alleged 4gb controversy).
Nope. It's true. DX12 massively increases AMD performance, but does little to nVidia. It was a conscious decision by nVidia to focus on speed in current generation games and its left them seriously lagging in next gen. They've actually been paying off developers to delay DX12 games to avoid the embarrassment of a £120 card beating an £800 card - Google "Ark dx12"

All my results come up with "Ark: Survival Evolved" and its "delayed" DX12 implementation - for a game that's not due for release until the end of next year.
I've been playing it on Early Access (not bad, not great) but your conspiracy theory here is quite amusing, to say the least.
As for DX12 "massively increasing" AMD performance, it's mostly a way to bypass the CPU dependence from AMD cards. For the most part, they won't get a 'speed boost' - they'll just have their old speed inhibition removed (in games with support for DX12 hardware only). For games with hardware DX12 support which also make heavy use of async compute, AMD cards will then also get a speed boost (although it's worth noting that while Nvidia cards don't have hardware async compute, AMD cards are also missing hardware support for some DX12/12_1 features).
How many of those games are we going to see? Not every DX12 game will make heavy use of async compute. But basing an entire generation's performance on the back of one game is akin to those utter morons who claim that console gaming is "better" than PC gaming because Arkham Knight had so many problems on PC.
In short, DX12 is good news for everybody. In games that take advantage of DX12 hardware, Nvidia sees a small performance boost, and AMD not only has one of their performance deficits greatly reduced (finally), but also sees a decent performance boost on top.
If you're really worried about DX12, don't buy anything right now. There isn't a card on the market with full hardware support for DX12/12_1 - not AMD, not Nvidia. Wait until next year.

Yeah just checked my e-mails earlier, ordered this on the 30th of November like many others and seen I had an e-mail from paypal (nothing from the supplier) saying I had been refunded. Pretty disappointing it has taken them this long especially since I had received an e-mail asking if the 4-6 week waiting period was ok. Don't think i'll be using them again or recommending them to anyone.
Update: - Just received a response to my email inquiring as to why my order had been cancelled, their response being they did send the e-mail (yesterday) to completely the wrong e-mail. Never received a single piece of notice from them.
