I absolutely love it, came last Friday and I have been on it pretty much every day, I didn't think it would run any games but I had a few in my Steam Library that work absolutely fine (Walking Dead Season 2, Company of Heroes 2 and of course Football Manager) not sure it would run fallout 4 lol but I didn't get it for gaming, just a nice addition. Its quick, light, and has windows 10, they were the main reasons I went for it.

As someone who has owned both the i3 Pro 3 (64Gb) and this Surface 3, the real world performance is pretty comparable. You'd have to jump up to the i5 to see a real difference. That means a lot more money - don't forget, you'll also need to pay £109 for the Pro 3/4 keyboard case.

Faster processor, more RAM and a bigger SSD, combined with the battery keyboard makes for a much better machine IMHO. I've bought 100s of machines from the outlet, they've all be as good as new and other than coming in a plain box, nothing to distinguish them from their expensive, brand new, brethren. I even bought a scratch and dent server, can't find the marks and it's been rock solid and reliable for it's entire life to date.

Good device, got this exact same deal from Very when it was on a few days ago. It was delivered a day later than expected (no biggie). Royal Mail was the courier used (anyone wanting to know).

Thank you scottg888, I've been on the lookout for a bundle deal on the surface 3 with type cover. There's no way I would have payed £400 plus for the tablet then another £100 for the type cover. I had considered buying the Cube i7 stylus with keyboard option from China as there is no stock in the European warehouses. I didnt because I was worried about transit, customs charges, reliability and back up if something went wrong. Although the surface doesn't have the Core M processor like the Cube, I'm hoping that because this is the 4gb 128gb version it will be sufficient for media consumption, general office, browsing and email tasks on the road with great battery life.

I picked one of these up in blue from Amazon for similar price today. The bundle includes the pen as well and paid £460 (before using £14 I had in gift card balance). Was going to post the deal but the price went up to £580 odd after I placed the order!

Seriously tempted to sell my iPad and grab one of these. Having a display port would allow it to double up for any long productivity sessions and rest of the time as an entertainment device.

Quidco tracked at £24.44 - assume it's based on the purchase amount less VAT? So brings it down to just under £400 including delivery I think.

Heat from me, this is a great price...so they're basically offering the same deal as Black Friday? £399 for the 128Gb/4Gb model which is already an excellent deal plus a Type Cover for £20. Bargain!

Something tells me they must have sold bucketloads of these on Black Friday (hence the shipping delays) and are just repeating the deal as quick as they can. I know a couple of people who work for Currys and they keep telling me these sell really well (all the Surface line, including the Pro models). Must be hurting iPad sales a little.

I did notice when I placed the order on their phone system they have an automated message apologising for the delay in deliveries due to adverse weather across the country. Mine says Friday delivery but I won't hold my breath, I'm in no hurry as its for me and not a gift for Christmas so I'll be happy when it turns up, however I can see why you'd be **** if you need it asap after 8 days!
