My Pixel C had same issue with the bootloop on last update. Thing is since 5.1 Google has locked bootloader and can only be unlocked after changing setting in developer options first (which in a bootloop is a no go!) My advise is to do that before any updates in the future or it's a trip back to Motorola for your phone! I see why for security but a pain! Just enable it again after update installed OK. I could have flashed my Pixel C no problem otherwise.

Got email from Motorola tech support re software problem - solution didn't work - so rang customer support and requested refund - I got the LG4 from Vodafone so don't really need N6 now.

Interesting - I wasn't aware of bootloops being a problem (except for people who had previously unlocked the Bootloader and were then trying to lock it again).

For those who don't want to get to grips with fastboot, adb, etc, I can definitely recommend WugFresh's Nexus Root Toolkit (despite the name, it can be used to load stock/unrooted versions of Android).

My good news is that I've had a text and email from DHL saying that my new Nexus 6 is out for delivery today. :-)

It is a bit of work, but their is no reason to send back if you get it working. It is strictly a software issue.
Motorola wanted me to send it back to "examine" - it had 3 weeks minimum written all over it so glad I sorted it.

I had same problem - constantly reloading apps - until battery drained - tried a couple of things - still no good - this is a known issue - really annoying - will try your link- otherwise I'm getting a refund.

Just a heads up, I got mine and when setting it up it said their was updates (I guess to the new Marshmallow Version) I said yes to do it and my phone got stuck in a constant booting loop and I had to manually download and reflash the factory image.

First date was 23rd then 24th -so to get it on 22nd was good - delivered at 1.30 - haven't opened box yet.

After ordering on 14th and only update being left warehouse in China 17th - was getting a bit worried - but got update today saying it was at local depot for delivery today - just in time for Xmas - very pleased.

Same here ordered on the 14th being shipped from China by DHL expected to be delivered on the 24th, just a thought any chance these will get stuck at customs or additional charges added?

I received an e-mail saying that my order has been shipped (ordered on the 14th). According to DHL tracking number, it comes from China and estimated delivery date is the 24th!

I ordered it on the Motorola UK web site (http://www.motorola.co.uk) and rang them on a UK number (0870 9010555), so I am assuming that the handset will be delivered from the UK. Why would you think that it might be coming from China?

I just rang Motorola and apparently it was an issue with my address (we have a house name but no number). For some reason, the order department couldn't find it, whereas the lady I spoke to on the phone had no problems.

Fingers crossed that it's all sorted and I might still get the phone before Christmas.

Same for me - I ordered 14th - just spoke to live chat - exported from warehouse - will ship via DHL - will get tracking id when with DHL - let's hope phones are in transit to DHL and get message soon - might still make it for Xmas - at least have credit card protection if things go wrong.

According to them, my order has been labeled as exported, not waiting for DHL to create shipping label.
But they can't give estimated time for that either.

So overall, very stressing and frustrating situation. Fingers crossed we can get them before Xmas.

I ordered mine last night, and it's still showing on the web site as "order not found", although there is an "Estimated Delivery" date of December 23rd!

I can also view my receipt on-line, but haven't received any confirmation emails about it.

My experience of dealing with Motorola for repairs is that they are pretty shambolic. It seems to have got worse since they were taken over by Lenovo.

I tried to contact online chat yesterday, and was told not to worry, it's confirmed. He suggested me to check again today, but still no luck!

I spoke to a customer service agent and they said that they've had trouble with the website, my order has been exported and I ordered it on the 14th. I also had the same message

I bought it at 11am two days ago, still couldn't track the order.
