I bought one, for the first time, a friend (who is from Florida & who buys fresh lobster regularly) prepared the lobster for me.... there is so little meat.... the bottom line is if you can buy some lobster meat frozen (out of shell) probably much better value!

Lidl ones are very salty. Iceland have frozen lobsters at same price. They also have raw lobster tails, worth a try.

I've bought it previously from Asda, Morrisons and Aldi. I thought they were from similar sources.
Can't tell the difference, taste, or size wise.
They are slightly pre cooked, then frozen, to keep it fresh.

you right, wasting of money, I believe they are around 300g. A nice tasty lobster full of meat should not be less than 1.5kg. obviously they come more expensive proportionally but worth it.

My local Lidl has been doing them at £4.99 but over the weekend dropped them to half price at £2.49, yes they are only 325g but make on heck of a decent starter when cut and served to two people.
