Ordered my set of these headphones, used to use these a while ago have to say great set of headphones, over the years had many different headphones these are in the top 5 pairs i've used over the ear.

These are the old model and are absolute rubbish, and I'm saying that as an owner of the newest Studios, which are actually very good headphones.

If you can afford £30 more I'd seriously consider the ATH-M50X from Amazon. They're closed back so doesn't leak sound and are genuinely brilliant...the reviews speak for themselves

If you only want Beats, buy the new generation.

It is a mystery to me that how do Beats get so much popularity and get public acceptance when their first products are such bad quality, bad sound.

I'm currently on holiday in Tenerife ,
Was looking at fakes in playa de las Americas . Done some bartering . Solo HDs are 10€ (£7.50) blutooth versions are 20€ ( £15) approx .. Didn't ask about the studio range but they were about dearer to start with ... So bought some as sticking fillers.. Ordered some of these genuine ones for my self , and also the 20€ blutooth ones as they have a slot for a micro sd card and fm radio which is ideal for when I'm running , if they don't last don't matter as the kids would still wear them as a fashion accessory anyway ... They have some here at 5€ about £3.50 but they are mono and not stereo and the wire is fixed so once it's broke that's it . But at £3.50 not really a problem lol

These are the old versions and honestly, I wouldn't bother, save another £100 and get the 2.0's they are worlds apart in quality of sound.

There's sellers of Beats Dr Dre Mixr on-ear headphones but a) I can't self-promote* b) I don't have 1,000 feedback for under £100 so can't link. For less than £40 more, I would get brand new Mixr over these....

Yeah, think about what your buying, then think again, then again.. Make sure its what you want so you don't need to cancel.

I emailed them 5 minutes after placing an order, then emailed me back saying the order has been shipped out already..

I got the executive ones and cancelled the red via chat. same amount so they were cool

has anyone received their yet? I emailed groupon they said most are ex display models hence without box. I'll keep my order.

Is Studio better than Executive?

Executive are noise cancellation.

"I have used both extensively. Studios are much better bass and are better with deeper sounds. If you Listen to rock R&B and rap get Studios. If you listen to pop country etc get Executives. Executives are quieter than the studios. The Execs have much better noise cancellation than the Studios. I recommend the Beats studios. The studios also do feel slightly more flimsy but they are both very durable. Studios have better battery life and can be used without battery life just with suffering sound quality while Execs can't do that. Execs are better with high notes"

Abit slow in sending out orders.
I tried cancelling my order shortly after i placed order but failed so assumed that it was sent out already.
Surprised they couldnt cancel order since it took such a long time to process.

got mine ealier, they sound good. not the best I've heard but decent for the price. how do I activate the noise cancelling on them or is it on all the time? doesn't seem to be all that.

Got mine today, they left it in the shed, while it was raining. Not happy with that..

They defo are orginal, must say sound good after further testing. does anyone know how long one can listen to these headphones on full volume without causing damage to health/ear. it's so tempting to have them on full blast. I listen to them roughly half and hour ish at a time.

Theres no serial number on the battery cover, the cable isn't genuine, everything else looks and feels good though

You get 1 x headphones and 1 x cable. The cable is poo, the headphones sound good and feel good. The hinge looks solid, the beats markings on the hinge don't stand out so that looks genuine. The battery cover doesn't have a serial number on the back. The battery holding looks cheap. Think that's about it,

Looks pretty good, sound pretty good, no serial number but I got genuine cable but in the wrong colour. The battery holder compartment looks cheap so probably been replaced. No case or accessories.
Verdict: good, will probably keep them.

Thanx for that info. I'll email them again, I would keep them if the cable was genuine. The mic button spins on the cable and will break anytime.

Been playing with the headphones for the last couple of hours, very impressed.
I received a genuine red beats cable with white headphones, the cable was wrapped with a Velcro band. I thought it was a wrong colour cable but after some research it's the correct cable supplied by beats. Very happy, so much so was going to buy another but all sold out :disappointed:

anyone got a serial number on the inside near the ear cup ?, mine does not, seen online with code near the cup .cable is rubbish no logo at all and inside the batt cover should be a dr dre signature ....none on mine :-( engraving of beats is smooth as should be , just not sure a

the quality of them is loads better than fake ones and better sound
i think there possibly refurbs
where people have returned them within a week as they didnt like them
ie no box . and no serial numbers as beats dont want to be refunding people on them
the 1 year warranty is possibly with either the seller or groupon and not with the manufactuer
but i may be wrong but makes sense
i dont think ill use them so im sending them back
unless anyone wants them at cost plus postage ( i purchased the white ones)

seen tonight studio 2.0 blutooth head phones on there now but at about £230

The fake ones have loads of different qualities. Some are easy to notice and some look genuine. I've been waiting 2 weeks for a refund now and still nothing. Terrible company. Even told them that on Twitter after they ignored all my message. UK customer support isn't in the UK. I get emails at 3am asking for proof I posted them back, even though my account on their website says they have refunded me
