Total price £309.99

Cheapest I can see this entry level diswasher from Miele, but am confident that even as an entry level model, it will be still superior to the usual suspects top models and last alot longer too.

Bosch versus Miele....dilemma?! How? We've had a few different makes of dishwasher in the past in rental places but got a Miele for our own house. There's just no comparison between Miele and the others.
We got ours from John Lewis during the xmas sale, was half price from around £1200 to £600 I think.

Our new one arrived at 0745. The delivery people unpacked it and carried it into the kitchen, and took away the packaging, they were very efficient and took good care of it.
It's now doing its first wash - having set the water hardness (look on your local water supplier's website and they will tell you what the hardness value is), and the rinse-aid setting to low (as we use all in one tablets that in theory contain rinse aid but I've always found using a bit of rinse aid really helps)
I'll be taking our old one to the recycling centre myself.

Which bosch are people referring to? The one I linked has gone up by £20 since I ordered, was £300 delivered, now it's £320 with delivery at ao.com or boots. I liked it because it has a cutlery tray rather than a basket, time will tell if I prefer that to the baskets I've had in the past.

I beleive this has a cutlery tray. One of the reviews on the Co-Op site makes mention to it, but it sounds small from their description.

Bosch used to be very good and I cannot fault its energy consumption, but my Bosch washing machine has been wonky with the timer and the wash light is flashing all the way through to the other cycles. Engineers have been called in and the problems still not solved.

I bought one of these yesterday: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/8501147.htm
so far very happy.
I will be replacing our tired old washer dryer with slow 800 spin for one with much faster one so clothes come out much much dryer and then finish them off in the Dry Buddy.

Thats a lovely story, thank you for sharing. This deal is for a Miele G4920BK, if you find a better price , please share. If you have real life experience that this Miele is rubbish, please share. Dont compare Rolls Royce to Tata.

If you want a tumble dryer, I have a condense ?? one with no external tubes needs. It has lasted me more than 10 years and has been brilliant. Made by Hoover. Love it.

Has anyone used coop electrical? Their trust pilot reviews are nasty. I have used ao before and they were very good when it all went bad..

Wasn't hugely impressed with my last dishwasher when I got it which was a bosch as the pump kept making funny noises then again it has lasted 19yrs!
I suspect the telling thing is the weight, the Miele is quite a bit heavier than the bosch. Would have preferred a tray but that is 100 more expensive on list.

that's a genuinely important question. time was you could expect the Bosch brand to be a guarantee of quality, but not any longer.
Miele are one of the (the only?) companies still left who don't have a cheap junk range.

Our 8.5 year old dishwasher started leaking and after a lot of poking around, I think it's the water inlet valve which will cost at least £60 for the part, so I decided it's on the borderline of economic repair, as I could fix it and something else could die soon and I'd have wasted my money. Which is sad because it's a pretty decent a+++ efficiency AEG with many of the same features as this Miele.
This deal clinched it for me, so thanks, I ordered it.

Click the link above and then look half way down the page for the pink text that says Miele £50 cashback.
You do Summer you are quite right' I have a Miele cat & dog' that's a Hoover not actually a Miele breed of pet  had a few problems with it in which it had to go back to Miele 3 times before they fixed it' but that aside its a beast of a machine
