That's the current cost on Miele's website (it doesn't explicitly state that price to be RRP on the Miele website) - therefore, the actual RRP might have been higher in the past.

Why? Did you test them all ? and all the time?
Miele is one of those manufacturers that doesn't seem to disclose the all important air power (suction power).
Also, whenever you see the word Eco in conjunction with a vacuum, means it will have a weaker motor, lower suction force and force you to spend more time to get the dust/hair out of your carpets (so more time on means more electricity).
I can't understand what was the EU thinking when they enforced the law to reduce vacuum cleaner motor power... twice.

Great find if you are after a vacuum. Miele quality is second to one and this should get very hot.

Urgh I bought the C2 Cat & Dog one a few weeks ago. Wish I'd waited a bit now!

They have limited this to 3 per purchase. But if you buy 3 of these and 1 other similar price then can use the code HNG4FOR3 and get one free. So £375 is for 4. less than £95 each.

Yeah, because I need four vacuum cleaners.

Is this better than the C2 cat and dog one?

The Ecoline is 800w,I think that is more suction power than the henry,They have lowered suction power but they have also maximized airflow so it gives a better performance than a normal 800w,but they exaggerate that it is just as good as a 2000w,I got the model with parquet floorhead for 159.00 via flubit a month ago.
applies to all household goods, just provided example.

Please be aware that Wattage does not = Suction power. All products evolve and develop, think about how cars and washing machines have improved in terms of efficiency. A lot of these newer lower input power machines perform just as well, some of them better. Not a cylinder fan myself but this is a good price for a C3, it's just a shame that you're in for a lifetime of buying bags and filters, kind of offsets the 'Eco' aspect.
