does that mean I can buy that and not use the sim card, would it be locked to 02?

Bought new 550 today. Same problems as the 950 have. Windows update stuck at 0%. All Apps that need updated stuck at pending. Outlook won;t sync. Had to hard reset and I see that it is applying some sort of update now, but that is a lot of time wasted trying to get this thing to work. I am NOT A BETA TESTER!
*edit* So after the reboot, it still says there is an update to .29 available but it is stuck at 0%. The SD card is being used for APPS, but it has 37 apps to download and I can see the number and the down arrow in the store, but I cannot tap the number to show me the 37 updates.
I am going to BOIL MY HEAD, and PUNCH THE WALLS, and when I come back, this had better have sorted itself out!

i feel your pain fella, im a long time user of lumia phones and love them but coming off of 8.1 on the 640 to the 950 was a proper slap in the face, battery drain is still not perfect, its has excellent potential i hope another update will be released soon. im on the insider project, you can download the update that way. Not sure i want to unleash the 550 on my daughter as shes just going to be giving me grief. I know apple end up releasing a phone and then updates follow quickly but this was a massive fail on windows and when they have to try so hard to encourage people to move OS i think they have possibly ruined that.

Asked to restart, got the cog wheels again. Here's hoping it works and more importantly, stays working.

For example, my Barclay's Visa debit card has a 2.99% exchange transaction fee, which makes the total cost £74.97.
