Completing the main story can be done quickly however there is a lot of optional side quest stuff that can be done which makes it last a lot longer

It's ok-ish but if you've played phantom pain no reason. If you've YET to play phantom lain definitely play this through for backstory. I've played it for a few hours, hard to 100% but I enjoyed it thoroughly!

Demo or not it actually plays a important role in understanding in what happens in Phantom pain. So highly recommended you play this first. H+.

Eh I wouldn't say significant...it rarely calls back to ground zeroes minus one or two references in passing. You can pretty much play mgsv on it's own and still get the important bits from it

This should be the standard price. Nothing more than a glorified demo and you don't even need to play it before The Phantom Pain. Can just watch a quick ten minute YouTube video.

Well it's not just a demo, one level but loads of variations. It was however free on PS+ a few months back. So even at a few quid it somehow feels expensive!

It basically was a demo. While entertaining, the different modes are just minor tweaks and rearrangements of the main mission.

Yes, this is a prequel to that and adds some decent story. It might actually have the best mission of the two games.

It was on PS+ in June, so if you missed it then you know this is safe to buy as no chance of ever getting it free on PS+
