Got to say that I've received mine today and it really is disappointing. Ive bought light raincoats from McLaren before and they have been significantly better than the one I received today.
The jacket really is wafer thin and I doubt it will keep me dry in even a light shower.
I posted the deal based on the quality of previous purchases and would therefore like to apologise for anyone who is equally disappointed with the quality of the product.
Even at £12 inc postage, I don't think the deal is worthy of the heat generated.

I would sooner wear a McLaren Honda shirt than a Mercedes or Ferrari. The latter two teams are destroying the sport. Their stranglehold on engine supply forces the hands of properly good teams like Red Bull and McLaren.
F1 needs a shake up. Ideally, Merc & Ferrari will have their wings clipped -- and a generic standard engine will be supplied to all teams.

Retail strategy in 2015, sell for a massively inflated price for a few weeks and a few mugs will buy, then set the trap for all the real mugs who will flock in their droves when it's massively discounted but the average punter won't look at the intrinsic value worth or quality.
If it was a recognised quality brand with defined price points then it would be a deal but an inferior quality cheap anorak which has been discontinued, with little or no weather proofing?.??

Jeez! This is HUKD, not University Challenge. You will baffle them.
perhaps if you did you would spot all the Alonso references...
McLaren's worst season in decades - utterly humiliation for them - two world champions as their driver line-up, matched by some of the deepest pockets in the sport, and the only team they could beat with any reliability were Marussia. McLaren and their fans will want to forget this year as quickly as possible - certainly not wear the team colours from it. Roll on 2016 and lets hope for a much better car.

I put on one of these jackets and I really felt like a part of McLaren F1 team. I felt like an amateur, it was embarrassing, and then a Ferrari shot past me.
I wonder, do they have any nice folding chairs that I could use to sit by the side of the track and watch the race - that would complete the true 2015 McLaren F1 experience.

McLaren jackets are incorrectly sized ?..So they cant even produce a jacket properly.. Buy the Mercedes one its twice the price but fits and is water repellent. Agreed good price for a jacket but not if you know anything about F1. I think Fernando will be handing his back soon
