Max Payne 3 continues the tale of former New York City detective, Max Payne. Still haunted by the memories of his traumatic past, Max begins a new life working private security protecting a wealthy industrialist and his family in Sao Paulo, Brazil. When gangs target the family under his protection, Max is forced to fight to save his clients and clear his name, in a bid to, once and for all, rid himself of the demons that have tortured him for far too long.

It's a 42 month old game that's on the old generation of consoles and kind of flopped at the time. Most second hand shops have been selling it for £2 for well over a year. Tough to describe this as a hot deal, considering where the pricing on X360 & PS3 games seem to be heading.

Just been playing this now on the 360 - very atmospheric with fairly tight gameplay. Completed it a few years ago but replaying to get golden guns. Really like the new york levels and music is outstanding - like a decent action thriller from the 90s.
P.s. I abhor the gta games - really can't stand them so was pleasently surprised how R* made this feel true to its roots while making it feel new.
