Have been trying to find a large family-size slow cooker in time for Christmas. This model gets great reviews on Amazon and ranges in from £35-£50 on the Internet.
Andrew James doing for £29.99 and free delivery BUT use code GIFT10 at the checkout for 10% off = £26.99!
One review says large enough to cook 3 chickens at once.
Happy Christmas :-)

I actually didn't mean portion size, meant overall quantity as a larger family. And larger not meaning weight wise. So thanks for your pathetic little comment. Maybe try being nice, people will like you

How are people unable to understand how to use larger pots?
At the risk of pointing out the obvious, you don't actually have to eat it all in one sitting...
I make a huge pot of currys or casseroles with mine, then dish it out into freezer trays. With one session at the weekend I can make enough meals for the whole week for two people, which then only have to be heated up when needed. Usually costs about £15 all in for a kilo of meat, a load of veg and some sauces from Home Bargains, so just over £2 per serving (or £1 per person).

Didn't you actually read what I had written!!! I cook all the time for other people and was looking for a bigger one than my current 4.5, for the price this IS cheaper! My family and friends are all happy but most importantly healthy although we all cant be perfect.
Merry Christmas to you, have a wonderful day

Once you have used it, don't forget to store next to your breville sandwich maker and George foreman.

"3 chickens at once" Being silly aren't they!
Yes it a decent size 6.5 is a family large size this is a bit overkill to be honest unless your giant haystacks or big daddy sized!

What has portion size got to do with pot size?
I use a 10 litre pot, strangely enough I don't eat 10 litre meals...

Well it came across as a pathetic little comment  didn't mean to upset you either. But I'm not too sure size wise. We have a 4.5 which could be bigger, have never seen one thus big but we always have friends and family over for dinner and I make extra portions for my nan to freeze for her

This is a great deal, as a family of five we don't do small servings. Excellent find, thanks

We have one and yes it is huge, so not practical for smaller servings.
