Tesco value shortbread is also all butter and a lot cheaper. Aldi all butter shortbread is also cheaper.

I'm not saying it isn't and buy that if you're happy with it  this is just another option and for those who shop at M&S.

6 Dec 15#25
Twice the price of the Aldi and Lidl all butter shortbread. But exactly the same ingredients. Why would anybody chuck money away just for a name? And a faded one at that.

Stupid comment as these are a selection including honeycomb and choc chip. Aldis aren't so you can't compare

Aldi & m&s are from the same factory. Coming from someone who worked at m&s head office. Don't bother! Or get some from m&s and enjoy but fill the box back up with Aldi shortbread ready for the family on Xmas day!

I might just pick up the Aldi ones

They might be made at the same factory but that doesn't mean they're the same. They could, and probably are, using different recipes and ingredients. Worth buying some Aldi ones though, if you can't taste the difference then you may as well get those.

Wouldn't normally make a point like this, but these are probably the best shortbread ever.

highly recommend the chocolate version which is also 3 quid. Far, far, better than anything by fox's or mcvities

Yeah. Being made in same factory doesn't necessarily mean same ingredients/standard/quality etc

I got mine today, thanks OP. The shelf was crammed full of them but they were still marked up at £6, they scanned at £3, looking forward to trying these as I usually go for the £9 ones in the metal tin.
