Still in stock! Not bothered about Xmas delivery as I'll be out the country anyway, but so glad to have got this for the price. My order for £22 somewhere else was mysteriously cancelled 2 weeks ago. Must have been fate :P

I'm currently playing this and I'm 12 hours in. It's excellent and everything you expect from a Mario RPG on a handheld.
It's very much of the Superstar Saga GBA mould (which is a true gba classic IMO); humorous, doesn't take itself serious, brother attacks, dodging attacks, usual enemies.
I loved sticker star except the stupid sticker mechanic. This isn't Thousand Year Door or a true paper Mario RPG but its a steal at £18. its not as polished as Sticker Star, which was beautiful, but i think its a better more fun game.
This is a 3ds Super Star Saga with Paper Mario making it a trio - what's not to like! Oh and they have taken onboard the criticism of the Dream Team Bros hand holding - no 10hrs of forced tutorials and you can fast forward text/scenes with R.

Never bought a single Mario/Luigi handheld RPG. Heard this wasn't the best in the series. Decided that prior posters stating that the game is OOS is a good sign and that I should save my money.
What I want is the Mario RPG that came out for the Gamecube. Why can't Nintendo re-release that?

Who was a big enough fool to buy this on the Nintendo store for £34.99 on day one?
Yes, me...
The game isn't as good as Bowser's Inside Story and Superstar Saga, but it is a pretty worthwhile entry in the Mario & Luigi series.

Is the game basically just Mario Paper Jam for 3DS with some cool extra stuff, new story etc and new characters thrown in?
EDIT: Just to correct myself I meant Mario Paper Sticker Star for 3DS. Wondering if this new game is just the same mould as that?

I know that feel bro. Came to me late as well so not at all happy. At least we have the paper craft set....
Agreed that its not Superstar Saga or Bowsers Inside Story but definitely better than Dream Team Bros

Can anyone who owns it give me a reading on how it compares to Dream team bros? i suspect its roughly the same in terms of quality/length? I remember a relatively similar quick price drop for Sticker star so i'm a little concerned. I didn't mind Sticker star although it was a bit clunky for a nintendo title.

Oh yeah I know that one. No, it's a completely different game - this one is a crossover between the Paper Mario series and the Mario & Luigi series. Paper Mario: Sticker Star is the fourth Paper Mario game (the others were on the N64, GameCube and Wii and they're all RPGs) and there have also been four Mario & Luigi games, also RPGs, on the GBA, DS and 3DS. If you liked Sticker Star you might like this, and you also might like the other Mario & Luigi games.

The game merges mechanics from the Mario & Luigi and Paper Mario series, so will certainly have some elements in common with Sticker Star, but plenty that's new. The new world and story will of course be key elements, with the game being an RPG.
The general critical reception for Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Bros has been similar to that for Sticker Star, perhaps a little more positive.

Sorry I meant Mario Paper Sticker Star for 3DS, which my kid has. Is a good game to a point, quite difficult and frustrating to solve at times to progress further.

Wow, didn't even know this existed! Love both the Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi series so this looks like it would be great for me - and £17.99 for a 2 week old 3DS game is a steal.
Is there a game called Mario Paper Jam? Can't find it. There's only this game, which is known as Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam in the USA, Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Bros in Europe and Australia and Mario & Luigi RPG Paper Mario Mix in Japan.
