I imagine most things are dangerous if you ingest them. I would advise if you think your child will eat it, don't give them it.

this "toy" could potentially be dangerous in the hands of child. I would liken it to buckyballs or magnetix, all toys that when a child does something silly and ingests it, clumps together, and requires surgery to remove. Its most likely some dodgy chinese "toy" that i doubt very much has gone through any sort of safety testing for sale in this country. Yes i know children shouldnt be putting things like this in their mouths, but they do.

The one star reviews on amazon say it'll not be pliable enough (at UK temps). Shame.
Nice cheap stocking filler otherwise.

This is nothing like Bucky Balls. It is just putty, like Plasticine but with a metalic/magnetic substance blended in.
Also if you could even be bothered to take a look at the actual product instead of spouting nonsense then you would see that it is aged towards older kids for educational purposes. Would you give a 3 year old a science lab that is also aimed at older children? Of course not, so use some common sense, you may get through life a little easier.

a lot of things are, but a lot of things will also pass through the digestive system, and back out the rear. things like these attract each other, and can become trapped inside the digestive system, causing all sorts of blockages and problems, and require surgery to remove as they wont pass normally as they are anchored in place.

Yeah. Like I said if you think your child is going to eat this and thus die, don't buy it and don't give it to them. It's very simple really.

nice to see you brushing aside the dangers of a child dying. I also wont be allowing my child to go out, in case they get hit by a bus, and will be monitoring my child 24 hours a day, 365 days to ensure they dont do something stupid. Of course none of the above is possible, but giving ANY child something with a potential danger associated with it would be reckless.

I hadn't realised that magnetism was in fact magic. Clears up a lot of nagging questions, thanks.

I bought this a few weeks ago, far too sticky to be used as shown, it was more liquid than putty, ruined my jumper. Kept the magnet, threw the putty.

Does it come with a magnet? Or is it just the magnetic putty?

which will win the putty or the magnets, my money is on the putty as the magnets will be fighting among themselves as the are politically poles apart

You should be reported for neglect !!! you mean to say you do not monitor you child on a leap year when there are 366 days!! you do know that's when they are most likely to eat metal and other poisons like tvs or a spare tyre for a car or even that well known chocking hazard, footballs

During pole shift, the putty will rise up and become one. Stocking fillers everywhere will lay dormant under sofas, at back of drawers and in boxes and tins until that day!

All you planet takeover sceptics are talking nonsense. Godzilla will save us.
Unfortunately, not even Godzilla can help with parenting, for the common sense challenged.

If your child did ingest some, just grab a big magnet, hold it to their tummy, and slowly raise it all the way to their mouth.
I'm sure this would work.
