It's not dangerous at all. In the resorts you feel very safe and the people are very friendly. If you were in Juarez, then yeah I'd say you would be taking your life in your own hands but you are miles and miles away from the dangerous places. It's absolute paradise on the coast.
We usually travel around North Africa in places like Egypt, Tunisia. We were going to book morroco last summer but the terror incidents changed everything for us. Mexico, Cuba , the Dominican are now the places we will be going now. With Mexico being top of the pile

Decent. Our last holiday to 5* Secrets Maroma in Riviera Maya was £2000 each for 2 weeks, which was a good price I thought.

It is worth to add that this is Pacific Coast of Mexico, Nuevo Vallarta. Very good price and hotels' staff is great.
